Hidden Gem at Bintan Indah Mall

Address: Bintan Indah Mall, Tanjungpinang Kota, Tanjung Pinang Kota, Tanjung Pinang City, Riau Islands, Indonesia A rundown mall a couple minutes walk from Tanjung Pinang Harbour. We were starving after a long ride from Singapore, and we stumbled across this local foodcourt while trying to escape the taxi drivers. Right at the enterance of the mall sits a small food court selling local delights like mee siam, laksa, soto ayam, fresh juice and more! The prices ranges from 25k-35k. We ordered:- 1. Fish noodle soup 8/10 - the noodle was tasteless but the soup was very tasty! It contains fishball, fishcakes amd fish paste bitter gourd. The portion was generous too! 2. Soto ayam 6/10 - very heavy on msg! It tasted like mee goreng with soto ayam meggi soup. It's one of the popular dish there but I would give it pass if you're not an msg fan! Overall a nice local experience I would give it a try if you're in the area.
