Lunar New Year in Beijing: I’m looking forward to the Hongluo Temple Spring Festival Blessing Fair

If you’re looking for a place in Beijing to experience the festive atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, I recommend Hongluo Temple. 👉This ancient temple has a history of nearly 1,700 years and has always been a popular place to pray for blessings. Every year, the temple holds a fair during the first month of the lunar calendar, combining traditional blessing culture with folk activities. I always want to take photos and check in here. This year is no exception! The Hongluo Temple Spring Festival Blessing Fair will be held from the first to the sixth day of the first lunar month. Are you ready? Let’s take a sneak peek at Hongluo Temple! 🏮As you enter the scenic area, you’ll see a sea of red. Nearly 10,000 red lanterns and handmade palace lanterns are hung high, creating a festive and lively atmosphere. The festive atmosphere is so strong that it almost overflows my camera screen! As you stroll along the bamboo path, you’ll see palace lanterns with the Chinese character for “blessing” swaying in the wind above your head. Every step you take welcomes the blessings of the new year, and every breath you take brings you good luck in the new year! 🤩This year’s event will feature traditional blessing culture, intangible cultural heritage displays, authentic food, folk performances, and more. There will also be fun interactive activities such as “Drawing Snakes and Sticking Blessings” and “Hundred Blessings Bowl Gashapon” to make you happy and bring you good luck in the new year! 🎇Pray for blessings and enjoy the festive atmosphere!
