Naga Cave, sun crack snake rocks

Bueng Kan was one of favourite on this list! Loved the Mekong vibe 🌅 The Naga Cave, located in Bung Khong Long district, is part of the Phu Langka National Park. This strange and amazing beauty of the large stone shaped like a giant snake or a serpent is a must be! It is definitely a great attraction for those who like nature, and a bit of mystery. Outstanding beauty and complexity of the natural rock formations or sun cracks. Highly recommend you reserve your queue first before planning anything else. Flight plan, hotel stay, etc. The hike takes 3-5 hours (average), with steep stairs and rocks. Make sure you carry enough water, some food and tip the local guide. Flight: Either choose Nakhon Phanom Airport or Udon Thani Airport. We picked Udon Thani, more flight options. Hotel: Recommend Thai Guesthouse, new building. Great location and service, with lots of nearby restaurants, convenient stores. Breakfast starts at 5 a.m. One of the best options available / Avoid Huen Kiang Bueng, great room and facilities but service was a big disappointment. Rude and a rip off. Restaurant: Lob Moom Soi8. Excellent food and service by lakeside Getting around: Car or bike rental is probably the best way to get around. Many prpvider available. Avis, Chic, ThaiCarRent.
