QingShui Rock Temple in Anxi, Quanzhou: A Sacred Place That Will Captivate You at First Sight

Remember to bring warm clothes if you come to visit😘! Also, remember to bring your prayer beads📿 if you need to purify them over the incense burner! 🤗Today, let's explore the famous 4A scenic spot in Anxi -- QingShui Rock Temple. 🚏Address: No. 1 Qingshuiyan, Pengxi Village, Penglai Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou. 🕰️Opening hours: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm 🚗Transportation: Driving is recommended. There are plenty of parking spaces on the top of the mountain. Please drive carefully as the mountain roads are winding. 🏷️Tickets: 20/person. Purchase through the mini program; no reservation required. 🌸Here we go: ✅Scan the QR code to enter and arrive at the Qingshui Fish Pond shown in Picture 2⃣️. There are many koi🐟 inside. If you have coins, you can toss a wish coin here. ✅In front of the pond is the renowned statue of Qingshui Patriarch (Picture 3⃣️). If you don't have incense, you can take three sticks from the offering table, worship Qingshui Patriarch, make your wishes for the year⭐, and then insert the incense into the burner! ✅If you have wish bracelets📿 or strings, you can place them on your incense sticks and rotate them clockwise three times over the incense burner. This symbolizes a smooth, safe, and blessed life! ✅After passing the Qingshui Rock Temple sign in Picture 6⃣️, you will come to an upward staircase (Picture 7⃣️). Turn left, and you will arrive at the first main hall of this trip. ✅As usual, worship at the entrance of the main hall before entering. Go up from the left, worship the Buddha all the way, and then come down from the right. Pictures 9⃣️ and 1⃣️0⃣️ show the architecture and roof inside the main hall. They are stunningly beautiful. It's no exaggeration to say that you could spend a whole day admiring these architectural details. ✅After exiting the main hall, walk further in and you will pass a towering banyan tree (Picture 1⃣️1⃣️) and the Holy Spring (Picture 1⃣️2⃣️). ⚠️If you have a bottle, remember to take some water back to brew tea. It's really sweet! If you don't have a bottle, it's okay. Cup your hands, take some water, and pat your face and eyes to cleanse and purify yourself, so you can see clearly and stay away from bad influences! ✅Further down is Picture 1⃣️3⃣️, the grandest main hall. It carries a long history and is the last stop at Qingshui Rock Temple. Similarly, enter the hall, worship, and then exit. Return by the same route to conclude this pilgrimage.
