Just returned from Xiamen with the kids. Honestly, don’t come in July or August unless you have to! It’s not a trap; this place truly understands what parents traveling with kids need 🌊 The sand is fine and soft on the feet, most attractions have air conditioning or shade, and the family-friendly facilities are excellent. The kids played so much every day they didn’t want to go back to the hotel, and I was able to relax completely, forgetting all the usual travel fatigue with kids. We really didn’t want to leave! 🏡 Exclusive accommodation tips to avoid pitfalls (saved me over 600 yuan) 1. Don’t stay on Gulangyu! Located on the ground floor of a residential building, the shop features its own private little courtyard filled with lush flowers and plants. The moment you push open the low wooden gate, you're greeted by a garden in full bloom!
