What a day yesterday was- I’ve lived in Cornwall for 10 years and it was the first time I got the train to looe, amazing view and journey only took half hour. Weather was lovely and warm, sunny yet slightly cloudy 🏖️☀️

Traveling with a three-generation family, my biggest worry before the trip was finding accommodations that could meet everyone's needs. Surprisingly, this hotel handled every little detail perfectly! Not only were the grandparents and kids satisfied, but we younger adults also had a blast. I'm truly so grateful. When booking, we mentioned we had a toddler just learning to walk and a grandma with limited mobility. The hotel didn't just arrange two adjacent rooms on the same floor for us; they also provided a complimentary crib and anti-slip grab bars for the bathroom. They even swapped in a firmer mattress for my grandma before we checked in so we wouldn't have to deal with it upon arrival—so incredibly thoughtful! As soon as we entered the lobby, the staff gave our little one cute balloon animals and fresh sliced fruit. The kid was smiling all day long, constantly praising how nice the hotel staff were. Each room was quite spacious; even with the crib set up, it didn't feel cramped. Our toddler could run around and play freely in the room without feeling restricted. The soundproofing was also excellent. The kiddo went to sleep early and wasn't woken up by any outside noise, and the grandparents slept soundly too. Breakfast catered specifically to different age groups—donuts and milk for the little ones, and plain congee with soft steamed buns for the elders. Everything was restocked promptly, so there were never any empty food trays. On this trip, everyone had a fun and relaxing time, and our mood was never dampened by accommodation issues. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling with family!

Every step is a scene, and every corner holds a surprise. ⭐ At the end of the village is the iconic harbor. When the tide goes out, colorful fishing boats quietly rest on the sand; when the tide rises, the whole harbor comes back to life. You can sit on the stone wall of the harbor, watch the fishermen busy at work, listen to the calls of seagulls, and feel the ultimate peace of time. 🏛️ Polperro Harbour Heritage Museum is the place to understand the soul of this village. Cornwall has to be the premier seaside location in England with miles of coastline stretching around the peninsula. One of the best spots in the entire county has to be the town of Looe. The town is built around the estuary as the water heads out into the sea. The river splits the town into two, with East Looe containing many of its attractions, shops and restaurants and West Looe being more rugged and full of coastal walks. #celebrateit #cornwall #seaside

The walk between the two costal towns of Looe and Polperro in South East Cornwall is spectacular but one that most relatively fit people can give a go, along the winding paths you can find some fantastic vistas to gain that perfect shot. The two towns at either end also provide plenty to see and do: Looe- split into West and East Looe this town not only has all the amenities and attractions you need for a perfect British seaside holiday but a number of spectacular beaches where you can also view Looe Island. Polperro has a much more quaint feel about it but when wandering around you can get a real feel for what it was like when Pirates and Smugglers inhabited the town.

Situated in Looe, this beach guesthouse is within a 10-minute walk of Old Guildhall Museum and Gaol and Looe Beach. Hannafore Beach and Second Beach are also within 15 minutes. Looe Station is 7 minutes by foot.
