I've been to the Canary Islands many times. There are six Canary Islands, all Spanish, with direct flights from European countries. Tickets start at €30; the earlier you buy, the cheaper it will be. Ryanair flies there from Poland, Germany, and Italy. There are even more flights from Spain itself. The Canary Islands are unique in that they are always warm. I'll tell you about one of them: Fuerteventura. It's not the most popular. The photo shows the sand dunes near the town of Corralejo. The magnificent sandy beaches stretch for many kilometers. In the town itself, you can stay in hostels or 5-star hotels; there's a wide choice. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste: Italian, Spanish, even Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The main drawback of Fuerteventura is the wind. A vacation here depends not only on the season but also on the wind. Today there might be no wind, but tomorrow it could be very strong. The beaches here are practically all located along one eastern side of the coast, so if it's windy, you won't be able to swim anywhere—the situation is completely different on Tenerife. In Fuerteventura, I rented a bike for an average of 15-20 euros per day, an MTB, and rode between the volcanoes, fortunately the elevation changes aren't that great. Again, the weather depends on the wind. I've been in November, February, and March—it's a mixed bag. Temperatures have ranged from 25-27 degrees Celsius, which was comfortable for swimming, to 18 degrees Celsius during the day with strong winds. Overall, I highly recommend visiting during the winter months.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank the entire hotel staff for the care and attention we received during our stay. I’d like to give a very special mention to the team at the Coral restaurant, particularly Chef Christian Rosario, who went out of his way to prepare baby food for my little one every day with great care and kindness. As a mother traveling with a small baby, having people like that made our stay so much easier and more special. ❤️ I also want to thank the staff at the Coral restaurant for their kindness, patience, and for always looking out for us. Additionally, a special shoutout goes to the ladies at the Bar de las Olas—Yanelsi, María, and Sol—who always welcomed us with a smile, were incredibly attentive, and made us feel so comfortable throughout our time at the hotel. Finally, I’d like to extend heartfelt thanks to Julay Mercedes from Premium Level for her remarkable care, availability, and attention to our needs during the stay. I truly appreciate all her efforts and the thoughtful details she provided. To everyone, thank you so much for making our stay even more wonderful. We leave with such fond memories, especially of the amazing people who made us feel at home. Without a doubt, the staff is one of the highlights of this hotel. ❤️ Thank you for everything, and see you next time!

CORRALEJO, FUERTEVENTURA, CANARY ISLANDS

Corralejo feels like a place where the desert decided to flirt with the sea. On the northern tip of Fuerteventura, it stretches out in a wash of pale sand dunes that roll straight into electric-blue water, blurring the line between land and ocean. The light here is different—sharper, cleaner—turning whitewashed buildings, volcanic stone, and salt-sprayed streets into something almost cinematic. The town hums with a relaxed confidence. Mornings smell of fresh coffee and sunscreen, afternoons drift by to the rhythm of flip-flops and windsurfing sails, and evenings glow with sunset colors that linger longer than expected. Surfers, artists, nomads, and longtime locals share the same easy pace, all tuned into the wind that never quite stops whispering. Corralejo isn’t loud or polished; it’s raw in the best way. Wild beaches sit just beyond lively bars, and untamed nature presses right up against everyday life. It’s the kind of place that makes time feel optional—where you arrive for a few days and quietly start imagining what it would be like to stay. #hellonewyear #eurotri

Corralejo is a town on the northeast coast of Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands of Spain. It’s known for its Natural Park , featuring windy , dune -backed beaches and is home to endangered wildlife as well as Montana Roja ,a volcano with panoramic views. I did manage to see some goats 🐐 and some chipmunks scurrying around the rocks in the dunes. The town a former fishing village is dotted with eateries and bars , nearby lobos Island is a nature preserve home to rare birds. I wanted a three night stay somewhere quiet and peaceful away from the crowds and the touristy area of Corralejo , and I found a beautiful Apartment. Featuring a private pool and pool views with also beautiful views of Corralejo Dunes and Natural Park, I was located in a quieter area of Corralejo and about 1km from Playa del Pozo (Flag Beach great for water sports ) and all the popular and most beautiful beaches on the island. Playa del Moro and Grandes Playas Corralejo had to be my personal favourites with beautiful white sand and crystal clear water amazing for swimming and snorkelling. There are restaurants and shops close to the beaches , and the nearest airport is Fuerteventura Airport 35km from Corralejo, if you want the main town and busy area , with nightlife ,loads of shops, and even more restaurants and bars that’s the place to be it’s a 30min walk away from Playa del Pozo, and if your wanting the Port for regular ferries to Lanzarote that’s about an hour walk from the beaches, a taxi is not a bad idea especially on a hot day. I had a lovely relaxing stay in Corralejo , it was quiet and peaceful which was everything I wanted , I hardly heard a noise from anyone when I was there, and also got very lucky with the weather during my stay, it’s an ideal area to enjoy the unique natural environment, with impressive views of the dunes and Natural park, and all the best beaches on the island. I spent my 3 days relaxing, swimming in the sea and exploring this beautiful area of Fuerteventura . If you’re looking for a quiet stay head out of the main town area and into the dunes, it’s more relaxed with less people and a more chilled out vibe 👌

#beachtime Fuerteventura felt like paradise from the moment I arrived. The endless sunshine, golden beaches, and the refreshing breeze made it an unforgettable trip. Cofete Beach was otherworldly—its untouched beauty and massive waves created a dramatic, awe-inspiring scene. It felt like the edge of the world, perfect for peaceful reflection. Sotavento was equally stunning, especially if you love water sports. Watching kite surfers dance across the turquoise water against the backdrop of sandy lagoons was mesmerizing. Popcorn Beach, with its unique white coral pebbles that resemble popcorn, was a fun and quirky surprise, perfect for photos and a quiet walk. The Atlantic wind is ever-present, so pack layers and sunblock to protect yourself. A rental car is essential to explore the island’s remote treasures at your own pace. Whether you're basking in the sun, swimming in the clear blue sea, or simply walking barefoot on the sand, Fuerteventura offers a perfect blend of tranquility and adventure.
