It's rare to find large cafés in Vancouver, but one has opened up, and I've been visiting it often! They offer a wide variety of bakery items and several types of shaved ice, making it a go-to spot whenever I feel nostalgic for Korea. I've heard that the café is run by Koreans, which might explain why the bread and shaved ice have the taste and appearance reminiscent of what you'd find in Korea—truly tempting! 😂 Although Vancouver doesn't have many hot days, I highly recommend visiting this place for shaved ice on sunny days. By the way, I haven't tried their brunch, but they do have brunch options, including pasta, so keep that in mind when you visit! 😊 The exterior and interior give off a vibe that feels a bit like Southeast Asia, or perhaps like being in a forest within the city, which adds to its charm. 🎈

If you’re looking for a summer destination with fewer crowds and amazing scenery, we highly recommend Widgeon Falls! The whole route combines paddleboarding + hiking + waterfall + swimming. If you’re lucky, you might see wildlife. This time, we spotted several otters 🦦, bald eagles, and great blue herons. 📍 Route guide 1️⃣ Start: Grant Narrows Park-Pitt Lake (p9) Set off from the dock and paddle along Widgeon Creek (p12) ⏱️ One way takes about 1.5–2 hours (depending on wind and stamina). If you don’t have a boat, search for Pitt Lake Boat Launch, which offers paddleboard and SUP rentals. 2️⃣ When you reach the drop-off point (Widgeon Creek Campground), park your boat (p10) 3️⃣ Start hiking (p13) Follow the orange trail markers for about 45 minutes one way (around 3 km) 4️⃣ Arrive at Widgeon Falls! (p11) The waterfall water is crystal clear. In summer, you can swim in a natural pool, which is very refreshing. ⚠️ Return the same way. See the full route in image p12 That is: 45-minute hike → 1.5–2 hours paddleboarding back to the dock ⭐️ Total time: about 6–7 hours (including breaks and swimming) If you enjoy the outdoors, SUP, kayaking, waterfalls, and forests, this is a great challenge for high-energy adventurers! Or just paddleboard without hiking—it’s still a lot of fun! 🚣 Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (moderate to challenging) The hardest part of this route isn’t the hike but the paddleboarding. If it’s windy or hot, the return trip will feel much tougher than the outbound. We recommend two people per boat so you can take turns paddling. Paddling the entire round trip alone is very exhausting. 🎒 Recommended to bring: ✔️ Sunscreen (you’ll be in the sun almost the whole time) ✔️ Insect repellent (there are many mosquitoes in the wetlands) ✔️ Water shoes / hiking shoes ✔️ Water, lunch, and snacks (no supplies along the way) ✔️ Change of clothes and towel ✔️ Waterproof bag (for phone and car keys) ✅ Tips · Try to start early to allow plenty of time for the round trip. · Wind on the day can make paddling against it much more tiring. · No cell signal—download offline maps in advance. · No shops along the route, so bring all food and drinks with you. · It’s best to go with a group

After going to Main Street Science World you can walk over to Gas Town to see Vancouver's famous steam clock and eat there you can walk to Waterfront to see Canada Place! If you still have time to take the Sea Bus to the North Shore for a walk, it is very fulfilling and relaxing🤗 Day2: Port Moody You can walk along the river, or walk to the river restaurant Day3: It takes about half an hour to drive from Lougheed to Grouse Mountain, or you can choose to take a bus! If a family of four (two adults and two children) can buy family tickets cheaper (240CAD including tax)! After riding the rugby ride up the mountain, you can play the Zip Line and Gravity Coaster! You can also watch the Grizzly Bears🐻, the Lumber Jack Show and the Eagle Show🦅, perfect for the whole family! 🏨 Accommodation recommendations Day 1 +2 Ramada By Wyndham Coquitlam It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from the Lougheed Town Center Skytrain, the front desk service staff is very good, the lobby has a free coffee machine and the restaurant next to it! The hotel has a swimming pool, however we didn't go because we didn't have time! 😝 The hotel also has parking! 👍🏻 The hotel room is very large, the room has a refrigerator, coffee machine, hairdryer, Dove toiletries! I visited the Lafarge light at Coquitlam. The lights were amazing but it was incredibly crowded. I felt suffocated and couldn’t walk on my pace because it was crowded. Take the Yellow Line SkyTrain and get off at Douglas Station. If you drive there, you can park your car at the bus shuttle parking lot, which costs 1 yuan for 4 hours, which is also very convenient. See Canada geese, mallards, and more here. The lake water is clear, the waves are sparkling, the breeze is gentle, and there are tourists walking around in groups of three or five, feeling extremely relaxed. The water droplets from the fountain in the center of the lake can form a rainbow, which is very beautiful. There is also an ice cream truck on the park lawn on weekends, so you can enjoy a delicious ice cream!

If ever you’re in British Columbia, Canada, I would highly recommend taking a stroll around Colony Farm Regional Park. This park is pet-friendly and jog friendly. The sweet summer breeze would make you forget your problems for at least sometime. We spent an hour here just sitting down and talking about life. This place is perfect for a picnic date for couples

#goout The Woodhaven trail is flat and easy to walk on. You can walk comfortably in the forest and breathe fresh air. You can reach the lake in about an hour. The scenery is beautiful and you can have a picnic here.
