The best sunset and shooting star ⭐️ in Adelaide
#bestsunset
Mount Lofty is located in the Adelaide Hills, roughly 20 minutes drive from Adelaide‘s CBD.
It is the highest point in Adelaide, the summit provides a picturesque panoramic view over Adelaide’s city skyline to the coast.
We went there in September, and the weather was quite cold which is around 15 Celsius and it’s windy.
The sunset was beautiful and impressive. And! We saw a streak of light that bursts across the sky! That one should be a shooting star 💫 How lucky I was to see this view!

Adelaide view from Mount Lofty
Mount Lofty are located close nearby to Cleland wildlife park so i get the chance to check out the area first. It is easily accessible by bus, car, or even motorcycle but i saw many cyclists took this path as well. As it was nearby to Waterfall Gully, many hikers/ walkers go to that area from here or vice versa. The view from the viewing platform are really nice, you can see Adelaide city from up here while having some drinks or snacks from the cafe. Mount lofty, Waterfall Gully and Cleland Wildlife park are in Crafers area, if anyone interested to know.

Adelaide Cleland Wildlife Park
Since the weather is good today and we decided to visit to Cleland Wildlife Park. It took about us about 20-30mins from Adelaide city centre.
The wildlife park is big as many Australian native wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, emus etc. we are lucky enough to see the Southern Hairy Noise Wombat which is the South Australia state animal. You can interact with most of the wildlife except those who are fenced. We enjoy walking the wildlife park and took us about 3hours.
The entrance ticket cost AUD33.50 for adult and AUD17.50 for child (age 4-15).
Operate daily from 9:30am - 5pm
📍Address: Cleland Wildlife Park

Gorge Wildlife Park, Adelaide Hills
In addition to Cleland Wildlife Park, the cuddly koalas are also waiting for you at Gorge Wildlife Park! Here, you can fully enjoy your time with these adorable animals, and the daily koala holding times (11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM) are something to look forward to. This precious experience is rare even in Australia!

Cleland Wildlife Park
#australiatrip
This was a great place to go as a tourist. We went mid day on a Thursday and there was hardly anyone there. The amount of animals you're able to interact with and feed is incredibly fun and entertaining. Great not only for children but adults as well. Be aware of the time though, we didn't know they closed at five and we were nearly locked into the car park! Our fault though, but I blame it on being able to get lost in the fun of the park.

"Cleland Wildlife Park: A Serene Sanctuary fo
If you're looking for an extraordinary wildlife experience that will leave you with cherished memories and a deep appreciation for Australia's natural wonders, look no further than Cleland Wildlife Park. Nestled in the heart of Adelaide's scenic Mount Lofty Ranges, Cleland Wildlife Park is a haven for both native Australian wildlife and nature enthusiasts alike.
From the moment I stepped foot into the park, I was captivated by the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. The park's lush vegetation, rolling hills, and well-maintained walking trails create a perfect setting for immersing oneself in nature. As I explored the trails, I felt a sense of excitement and wonder, wondering which incredible creatures I might encounter next.
Solo trip to Cleland Wildlife Park.
Went on another solo trip to Cleland Wildlife Park, a home to over 130 species of native animals. I took few pictures of some species that really catches my attention.
From first picture, this species called kangaroo Island kangaroos, it has darker chocolate-brown colour.
Picture 2 shows a yellow-footed rock-wallabies, it called as such because of their bright yellow-orange feet, forearms and the tail. They live in a rocky highland area.
On 3rd picture are swamp wallabies
While on the next one are called Western grey kangaroo. In a matter of size, I personally think it’s quite similar to kangaroo island kangaroos, it just that their colour are obviously different where this one have lighter greyish colour.
Moved to the next slide is a koala, it’s been a while since I hoping to see and touch one😅. I guess mission for today has been accomplished.
I didn’t get close to the red kangaroos as it looks so muscular and looks like it ready to punch me anytime.
Below are details of the trip;
Entrance fee; AUD 30 (add on food for the animal 4 AUD)
Hugging and holding koala have to pay extra (booking required. Which only available 2pm. But koala close up experience are free which start at 11am - 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.
