The extra-large double beds have soft, cozy mattresses, and some room types even have private balconies to capture the South Seas morning mist. 🍽️ The food is delicious! The restaurant on the first floor, Restaurant Blanc, is a Michelin Guide 2025 selected restaurant, offering French and Asian fusion cuisine. You can taste the flavors of Penang without leaving the hotel~The corridor corners are also exquisitely designed, with sunlight pouring in like stepping into an old movie! ❤️ The hotel itself is a century-old mansion converted, under Design Hotels, featuring black and white minimalism combined with South Seas vintage style. Nearby are Penang Golf Resort and the Nine Emperor Gods Temple, and it's not far to drive to Sunway Carnival Mall ⛳ 🏨 The resort has a private water park, kids won't want to leave once they're in! The pool might be the largest in Penang, and there are 5 hot tubs – you won't want to get out💦 💡 The overall style is Moroccan, with super atmospheric lighting at night ✨ It's divided into a water park, pool area, and relaxation zone. Are there 9 pools? Actually, more than that, and there's a pool bar right by the pool where you can order a drink and relax all afternoon 🍹 🛏 Rooms come with pillow-top beds, down duvets, smart TVs, smart speakers. Some suites even have kitchens, living rooms, and can even overlook the water park! Cleanliness is top-notch, toiletries are excellent, and attention to detail is evident 🧴 🍽️ Breakfast offers so many choices it's hard to decide, with both Thai and Western options. The special Apam Lenggang with fish curry is a must-try 🥞. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, but you can actually eat until 11 AM, so parents can enjoy a leisurely meal while the kids go swimming first. The hotel has 3 restaurants. In the evening, enjoy a cocktail by the pool 🍸, with the gentle breeze – it's incredibly relaxing. Overall, this place truly ensures the whole family won't get bored even after three days!! It's also close to major Penang attractions, making it convenient for relaxing at a spa or shopping.

After flying in and out of Penang International Airport so many times, I only just realized there’s a lounge tucked away inside! This mini lounge is located in the restricted area right above Gate A3. No wonder I always walked right past it without even noticing it was there. My original flight for this trip was unexpectedly canceled, so I had to book a new ticket through Trip.com. Right before boarding, I was pleasantly surprised by a notification offering me a complimentary lounge access add-on, originally worth NT$722. With a deal like that, I obviously had to check it out! We decided to try this new luxurious seaside hotel in Penang which is exclusively designed by world-class, award-winning architects for the ultimate comfort of its guests. We stayed for 6 days and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel is clean, well-organized, and the rooms are spacious with a beautiful sea view and breathtaking sunsets. I especially loved the private pool and sauna in the room — such a unique and relaxing experience. Special thanks to the reception for the warm welcome, professionalism, and excellent service which made our stay extra pleasant and memorable one.

For those who want to get a taste of chinese food but want it to be halal then this is the place to go. Well since the restaurant doesn't have pork so some of the dishes served here may not really taste as good as the standard Chinese dish but honestly the food is good. Overall taste pretty good but I am comparing and rating this knowing it is halal. The restaurant is not really big so you only have limited seats but it is air-conditioned so overall a nice and comfortable environment. Overall, we had an enjoyable time.

We stayed at Lexis Suites for 6 nights in December 2025. The rooms (suites) are excellent. Quite large (82 sq meters) with balcony, spa and pool and 2 x King beds. Staff are very good and friendly and we were allowed to check in early since we arrived via ETS at 2pm. The second day, the housekeeping cleaned our suite but not on the third and fourth days. Phone was not working when we stayed. We had to go to the reception twice to request to fix the phone, change towels and replenish our bottled drinks. The housekeeping (foreign workers) need to be more attentive. Nonetheless, the big red shopping bag was a good touch for visitors or guests to use the bag for shopping in Penang or carrying things to the pool. The only issue is that the hotel is in an isolated area, quite far from anything. We used GRAB to get around which is quite expensive but the hotel does provide a shuttle (taxi) that leaves at 11am to Prangin Mall and Queensbay Mall. Do book a day earlier at the reception. Room price is also very good. I recommend Lexis Suites Penang, just be prepared to spend a bit of time and money with GRAB or transport. We found a few eateries next door selling fabulous nasi kandar, toast, half boiled eggs, coffee with butter, pasembur and fried kue teow which we find to be very affordable compared to other renowned eateries in town.

I was staying at Iconic Regency Serviced Suites and walked through this beautiful Iconic Marjorie, a Tribute Portfolio hotel and it was so beautifully decked up in Christmas decorations and this year its so beautiful, with a white, blue, gold theme and they are also offering these cute birds up for adoption. The outdoor is also decorated with reindeers while Loom & Leafs are having their Christmas specials in term of Christmas Hightea Set and a few Christmas specials pastries and drinks.
