Special

This is a very unique sort of a place with the vintage ambience. There is something artistic about it as well as old and photogenic. It was a really nice place, that is sort of hidden from the road so you can't hear the bike or car sounds which was great. The place was cozy and there are some muaic instruments. The music was great too. We went in the afternoon for a while and then went back again in the evening because we liked it so much. It was lot better than places with tourists and noise. We tried their cold brew coffee and passion fruit juice. Both were very nice. #vietnamtrip #hanoi #hiddencafes

A Beautiful Cafe in Hanoi🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Not only was the Hidden Gem Cafe space beautiful, the coffee was also delicious, sipping our drinks as we looked out to the chaos outside while feeling the tranquility inside. We ordered ourselves their signature Coconut Coffee—this was delicious!!! When walking around this cafe, you will notice a lot of environmental messages like Save Water, Save Trees and also many of their furnishings are made of recycled objects such as the seats, lights and the tables have parts of motorcycles as body and legs, really interesting and a great concept! Hidden Gem Cafe is a lovely coffeehouse that truly lives up to its name. It would be kind of hard to spot the entrance to the cafe if you are not really looking for it. Many coffeehouses in Hanoi are hidden in plain sight jus like this…but their coffees are truly amazing! #freehotelstay #foodie #本地遊 #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #awesomepic #cafe #summervacation #travel

Serene and Stunning Halong Bay, Hanoi 🇻🇳

#vietnamtrip 📍Halong Bay, Hanoi, Vietnam We managed to explore Hanoi’s popular Halong Bay by going on an overnight cruise ride at Halong Bay. Halong Bay was also declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site! The scenery and views of Halong Bay was stunning and simply mesmerising during the day and sunrise. Halong Bay is so unique that it consists of 2000 odd limestones islands and islets that emerges from the water off the coasts. The cruise ride was nothing short of boredom as passengers get to do some fun activities like spring roll making on the cruise, kayak, karaoke, and squid fishing at night. We had an unforgettable and wonderful cruise trip in Halong Bay!

Dong Xuan Market - Hanoi

Đồng Xuân Market is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Hanoi. It was originally built by the French administration in 1889, but it has has been renovated several times after a fire which almost destroyed the market. Getting there is pretty easy as it is located not far from downtown. This market specialises in spices, nuts, vegetables, fruits and even cloths. Most vendors are friendly. Enjoy the samples of local food. Products might not have a price tag so you must ask for and negotiate selling prices. It’s always a good idea to shop around with a local you can trust. After the visit, you can also enjoy some shopping or nice food as there are many restaurants and shops around the area. #createwithtrip #vietnam #holidays #exploring #createwithtrip

A Stunning Vietnamese Cathedral!

Attraction name: St Joseph’s Cathedral Location: Hanoi old quarter in the capital city of Vietnam. St. Joseph Cathedral is a Catholic Church in the heart of Hanoi. The cathedral has lots of history and is beautiful inside and outside. I recommend going to Godmother coffee shop because it’s beside the cathedral and you get stunning views of the cathedral from the second floor whilst sipping an iced coffee. #stjosephschurch #hanoi #vietnam #oldquarter

A unique spring experience in Vietnam!

#springwander #vietnam Quang Phu Cau Incense Village in Hanoi is such a unique place to visit during spring break. It is really one of the most captivating places I have visited in Vietnam. It looked straight out of a painting. I got lots of pictures here which would make great memories for this spring. You can easily cover this place in half a day’s time. You can also learnt the art of making incense sticks here in different colors. That definitely makes a fun activity. I can’t recommend visiting the Incense village enough this spring. You just can’t miss it in Hanoi. Do visit.

Dong Cafe

Dong Cafe

An open space cafe, looks quite personality. The shop is suitable for quick coffee, meeting friends, or sitting alone to chill, but for work is not an option. And you should avoid the time when office people sit, because it will be a bit noisy. The menu is diverse, there are signature items, and the cups here are also quite beautiful. The latte is hot and smooth, the milk is quite greasy, maybe double shots are just for my taste. The mouth of the porcelain cup is flared, so drinking feels smooth. After that, I will definitely try some of the shop's special items such as: Dong Giao (coffee, fresh milk & honey), Dong Dong (egg coffee), Dong Muoi (Ame, salty cream), Dong Co (fat cream coffee) Quite commending the shop's takeaways with thoughtful and environmentally friendly packaging —— Address: Dong cafe - No. 8 Trung Yen 5, Cau Giay, Hanoi (from Lane 1 Trung Hoa) Open Hours: 07:30-22:30 25,000-50,000 🚬 Smoking in outer space 🏍There is a parking space for motorbikes 🚘Car parking available 💳With bank transfer/momo #coffeeshop

🇻🇳🍜Delicious Food in Hanoi🍜🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Tucked away in an alley is this amazing hole in a wall noodle restaurant-‘Pho Suong’ Suong in Vietnamese means ‘satisfy’, according to the owner, the restaurant was named this to trigger customers' curiosity. It also refers to the way they want their customers to feel after eating their best pho in Hanoi. And they were right about that, this was on my eat-list in Hanoi, the light and sweet broth is the highlight of their famous dish ‘Pho Bo’ which is made from stewing beef bones and meat for hours. The beef is also on point, steak well done and is not dry also manages to retain a certain level of moisture. Each piece of beef is carefully thin-sliced, tender, and meaty. We were smitten with our Beef Pho, adding the garlic, lime and chili peppers found on the table took the dish to a whole new level. We sweat like crazy eating this dish up but it was totally worth it😋 P.S. Went for a walk after that and had some really delicious Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls from one of the restaurants on Beer Street😋This was another tasty dish especially when dipped in that sweet and sour vinegar sauce. 📍Pho Suong Old Quarter,Hanoi #timetotravel #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #hanoi #foodies #food #vietnam

LANE8 COFFEE & WORKSPACE

Lane8 is located at the end of a small alley in Phuong Liet, but the parking space is very comfortable. Entering the yard, you will feel familiar like a home garden, with wooden tables and chairs in the old style, each potted plant and flower pot is arranged together, and there is also a separate area for smoking. If you sit outside, you can ask for mosquito spray to use. The space inside is divided into many different small rooms, each room is furnished with high tables and chairs, electrical outlets, and full of light to serve customers who want to come to study/work. The 3rd floor seems to have not been invested in or cared for much, so although there are quite a few tables and chairs, it is quite messy and not unified according to any concept. The staff are all good, polite and support me when needed, which is also a plus, especially for those who come to sit for a long time to study/work, Lane8 is a pretty okay choice. . #songkran2024 #cherryblossom2024 #historicallandmarks #goodfoods #localguides #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe

A Timeless Elegance in Hanoi: Stay at Hotel Capella

#vietnamtrip Tucked away in the heart of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter, Hotel Capella Hanoi felt like stepping into a world of vintage charm and refined luxury. Combining art-deco opulence with a touch of Vietnamese heritage, this boutique masterpiece offered an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience that captured the soul of the city. From the moment I entered the hotel, I was transported to an era of 1920s glamour. My suite was a work of art, with bespoke furnishings, vintage-inspired details, and warm tones that exuded sophistication. The French windows opened onto a private balcony overlooking the bustling streets, creating the perfect balance of serenity and urban charm. A curated collection of books, plush bedding, and a luxurious freestanding bathtub made it difficult to leave my elegant retreat. Dining at Hotel Capella was a true celebration of culinary artistry. At Backstage, the hotel’s signature restaurant, I savored a menu inspired by Hanoi’s rich culinary heritage, with dishes that blended traditional flavors and modern finesse. Each plate told a story, crafted with local ingredients and presented beautifully. The Diva’s Lounge, with its intimate ambiance, served delightful cocktails alongside live music, making it the ideal spot for an evening escape. The hotel’s amenities were equally exquisite. I found solace in the Auriga Spa, where traditional Vietnamese therapies and calming spaces left me utterly relaxed. The indoor pool, surrounded by lush greenery and art-deco design, offered a tranquil oasis amidst the lively cityscape. Located steps away from Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Hotel Capella Hanoi provided the perfect starting point for exploring the city. I spent my mornings strolling around the lake and my afternoons uncovering Hanoi’s treasures, from the French colonial architecture to the bustling Đồng Xuân Market. The hotel’s concierge team made every excursion seamless, curating exclusive experiences that showcased the city’s history and culture. What set Hotel Capella apart was its impeccable attention to detail.
