The staff was very kind and helpful, it is also perfectly located, easy walking distance from the city center. Rooms were very clean and what I found amazing is they have umbrellas they lend out since Zurich is such a rainy city.

The day of my arrival is Saturday, never expected Zurich is such a city never sleep, from train station to the hotel, each 10 meter a club or bar, young people stand in line waiting for entrance, strong electric music tempo cover the whole street, event the hotel walls are resounding over the midnight, lucky me I bring my earplugs. Additional breakfast is CHF$16.

The room is not big, but the sanitation is OK. It is two or three kilometers away from the old city. It is not far from walking around. There was no air conditioning in the room and it was a bit stuffy to close the window. Opposite a very large COOP supermarket, it is convenient to buy 啥. Breakfast is 9.9 Swiss francs, children are free, full is OK. Mainly this price is really not available in Switzerland. The overall is still worth recommending.

It was a tragedy this apartment. First we had No.21; there it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the pizza supplier on the ground floor, the cutlery, the glasses and plates were dirty in the kitchen cupboard, the microwave was dirty, the extractor hood buttons were missing, the same was true of the stove. The bathroom had stains everywhere and was also dirty. At the second apartment No. 41; Luckily it no longer smelled of smoke and was ”cleaner” than the other one. In turn, it had also had many dirty places. For example the mold edges in the fridge, the make-up stains in the bathroom, the dirty (-not washed clean-) bath towels. The walls of both rooms were dirty and very thin. The gentleman on the phone was very snippy, arrogant and only agreed to give us another room when we really put pressure on him. Really a sad picture.

I have to say I was really surprised by my stay because many reviews I read spoke of noise at night due to its location however in my case I never experienced this, it was really quite. Apartment was comfortable and ideal for a short stay, its centrally located tram stop a couple of minutes walk as is train station, main shopping district a 10 minute walk away. Great burrito shop down the street as well as Italian. If I had one minor quibble curtains could do with been thicker as trying to have a lie in proved tricky as room got bright early and one strange design feature to note one of the walls of the bathroom are see through glass so remember to keep that particular curtain drawn. All in all a great stay, highly recommend and will be back
