My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 60th birthday with a bit of luxury and I wanted to return to the Balkans after serving there in the 90s following the war so we booked a 10 day holiday in June 2022 for summer 23 flying out on 28th July to Split and at TUI Blue Adriatic Beach in Croatia, because we wanted something special we decided to upgrade to a Swim up Pool room so we didn’t have to compete in the sun bed competition every morning! Unfortunately and 10 months later on 13th April 2023 we received an email which stated: “We have been advised that the room you have booked can no longer be offered during your stay. We understand that a change like this is disappointing, and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. When we are no longer able to offer a particular room, we’ll always look to find an alternative which is as similar to your original choice and therefore have secured you a Junior Suite with Sea View and Balcony or Terrace. Please kindly check our website for more information on what is included in this room type to ensure that this alternative room will be acceptable to you”. As you can see there was no explanation as to why and despite contacting TUI directly both through email and phone they were unable to provide me with a reason, I also contacted the hotel directly and they blamed TUI but when I went back to TUI with this information they still failed to confirm why the room had been cancelled. The hotel has an app so I started communicating through that and to my surprise we weren’t alone, and while at the resort we established it was common and I am aware of at least another 6 couples celebrating occasions who had their rooms cancelled! There are 24 swim up rooms which were all fully functional though many were unoccupied and what we discovered was that they were being rented out daily at a cost of 125€ (£107) which was approximately £42 a night more than I and others had paid in 2022 when we booked our holidays. As we know prices increased significantly during the period June 22 to Summer 23 and TUI obviously saw an opportunity to profiteer, if TUI cancelled all 24 rooms booked in 2022 at a cost of £65 a night and charged £107 in Summer 23 they would have seen an increased profitability of over £31k each month over customer service and loyalty! TUI did say that we could change our hotel and destination, but because they cancelled the rooms so close to the actual start we were unable to find anything remotely suitable for the price we paid when we booked in June 2022 and we were told that the same cancellation rules applied so we would have been significantly out of pocket through their greed! All we all want is for TUI to inform us why they cancelled the rooms people had booked well in advance in good faith. The food was very repetitive so we ate out a could of times which is disappointing when it’s all inclusive, overall we were very disappointed and we absolutely wouldn’t recommend or return to

Visited at beginning of October and our first visit to Croatia. Travelled on a TUI holiday with flights by easyJet from Luton. Delayed 24 hours due to severe storm but easyJet did there best and put us up overnight eventually. Hotel is a fair distance (140mins) from airport which (Split) is probably the cleanest I have ever seen. It is set at the base of a mountain and most rooms inc ours had a perfect sea view. Totally spotless, clean and modern with spacious rooms. Beach is spotlessly clean but pebbly and the sea warm and crystal clear. No problems getting sun beds but sometimes a queue at the pool bar as the beach bar was not open. Food generally good with plenty of choice and variety. Maybe a little more salad choice in comparison to Turkish or Greek hotels if was being highly critical. Expected a little more from the Mojito bar which was really just a standard bar and the mojitos and cocktails were ok as was the beer. Evening entertainment was mainly singers which were ok but more background rather than entertainment. After losing a day to delays we didn’t do any trips other than go to Makarska which is equally stunning. All in all a good first trip to Croatia and will go back at some point.

Me and my partner visited in May 2023 for 10 nights and had a great stay. The location is absolutely stunning! Sitting on the balcony in the evenings watching the sunset and spotting dolphins is something I will never forget. The hotel was impeccably clean and had great facilities. We were a big fan of the cocktails, especially the pina coladas! Also loved the iced coffees! The food was tasty and varied. We weren't blown away with the entertainment but that is just a personal preference. If we were to ever return to Croatia (which we hope to one day!) we would certainly stay at this hotel again.

What a fantastic few days’ we had at Tui Blue Adriatic Beach! As other reviewers have mentioned, the transfer from Split airport to the resort was around two hours, however the coach was modern and comfortable – with aircon – and the drive was so scenic along the Croatian coastline that it didn’t bother us at all, and time went pretty quickly. Once we arrived at the resort, we were informed our room was ready a little earlier than expected, which was great, and what a room we had! We were kindly upgraded to a Superior Sea View Room (Azul, 2107) and it was contemporary and spacious, the highlight being the breathtaking view over the pool and sea! We spent many evenings watching incredible sunsets from the balcony. The room was cleverly designed so that the bed faced the view, which was lovely to wake up to. As others have noted, the resort is built on a hill, and although there are a number of lifts available, there are lots of steps to go up and down to get to and from the pool and beach – we were fine with this, but this may prove difficult for some with mobility challenges. There was a wide choice of food available in the main buffet style restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. From local dishes to international favourites, there was always something new and tempting plus lots of fresh fruit, salads, vegetables and live cooking stations too. We were pleasantly surprised by the offering. Drinks wise, my husband mainly had the draught beer, which he enjoyed, and I stuck to the cocktails. I was a little worried beforehand that most of the cocktails would be chargeable, however a good number were included – the Pina Colada’s went down a treat after a day on the beach. We dined one night in the Culinarium, which made a nice treat. In terms of entertainment, it wasn’t a busy schedule, however we appreciated the live music which was on most nights we stayed, my husband really enjoyed the ****** night as well. This holiday was very much one for us to relax, so we spent most days on the beach (make sure you bring shoes for the beach – it’s pebbly), swimming in the sea or relaxing by the pool, however also made use of the gym, sauna, steam room and games room too. The resort is located in a very quiet area, however for those that want to explore a bit more, the next village is a 5-minute stroll away, and Igrane (a small town) is about 30 – 40 minutes’ walk. One of the big standouts of this hotel (as well as its spectacular location), was the friendly, helpful staff. Everyone we met was lovely, from the F&B team to housekeepers, and seemed to really enjoy chatting and joking with guests. We came back from our holiday feeling completely relaxed and are already looking forward to our next trip back to Croatia! Thank you Adriatic Beach!

Lovely hotel, quiet location, on the beach! Stayed with my father for the week and had a lovely time - a cake was left in our room on his birthday and his face lit up! A lovely touch! Lots of room at the pool no need for worrying about getting a bed. Coffee bar for the morning and throughly the day is FANTASTIC. - staff were a bit shocked at my request for a cold caramel latte but was still made excellently! Right next to the beach - be prepared for walking up and down a lot of steps, however this is very clear from all the pictures - so ignore those complaining! We walked to the next town along - be warned this will take well over an hour and there are no taxis! So you will have to walk there and back and there are few cafes and not alot going on when you get there! We did a trip to Dubrovnik and Mostar - Do not miss these trips! Mostar is amazing and Dubrovnik is a must see!

Having previously (2018). stayed at the Tui Blue Jadran hotel just a few miles down the road, we were expecting good things from this hotel. However the disappointments began at Split airport, where there were no Tui reps to greet us, just instructions in an email telling us where to find the transfer bus. On finding the bus we then had to load our own bags into the hold. Two and a half hours later we arrived at the hotel and again had to take our bags from the bus into reception. . There were no welcome drinks, and we were told by a very officious woman to put our bags in an area alongside the reception and then stand in a group whilst she shouted out that the rooms were not ready and we should go to the restaurant to get some lunch which we did , down 3 flights of stairs, ( there was a lift but is was only big enough for 2 or 3 people). There was no-one to greet us at the restaurant or show us to a table . There were very few tables that were not already occupied and those that were not occupied had not been cleared. We were 2 couples travelling together so needed a table for 4 but 95% of the tables were for 2. We eventually found a table and moved the dirty dishes ourselves, a waiter came by and we asked for some drinks but his attitude was awful , like he was doing us a favour. Our drinks arrived some 15 -20 minutes later. We then faced the buffet, the food was unappetising , most of which I can only describe some kind of unrecognisable meat in an equally unrecognisable sauce . There was a section where they displayed nice cuts of meat , and a chef supposedly preparing that meat but if you asked for some of that meat you were pointed to some already cooked however that meat was mostly gristle and bone . Sadly this dining experience was repeated every day, no one showing us to a table , tables not cleared with the same boring tasteless food on offer for both lunch and dinner , even the so called 'Gala Dinner" didn't vary much from the every day boring offerings. Desserts were marginally better but almost all of them were chocolate covered or chocolate flavoured cake. When we eventually got our rooms , we again had to take our own luggage up 3 floors to our rooms. Again there was a very small lift but you had to go down some stairs and then up some more to reach it and it was only large enough for one person with two cases. The room was quite nicely furnished with a large comfortable bed , but lack of maintenance was showing. Our air can was only pumping out hot air, the fridge was not at all cold, the sliding wardrobe door jammed and off the tracks frequently, the toilet seat, and the soap dispenser were both broken and the safe was locked. We complained about these and the toilet seat was replaced , the air con and fridge were'fixed' but neither worked properly for the whole week of our stay, It took them 4 days to fix the wardrobe door and the soap dispenser was never fixed. The Tui welcome meeting told us nothing about the

Just returned from a week at this hotel it was amazing. We booked to celebrate our big birthdays so we booked two adjoining swim up suites . They didn’t disappoint and are well worth it . The hotel is in a beautiful location and the rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday. My husband always suffers with a bad back from other beds when we go away but the beds were so big and so comfortable we don’t like ours back at home now ! We didn’t have an issue finding sun beds ever on the beach and as we had our own pool we only used the main one a couple of days . The food was lovely and lots of choice even for our eldest daughter who is vegetarian. The baked apples at breakfast are the best . In the evening we spent the hour before dinner watching the sunset while we had a drink it was just lovely. Would highly recommend this hotel the only minor thing was there was not a mirror in the room that could be used to do my hair ! So maybe take one of you are visiting . Amazing , sad to be home !

Incredible selection of food including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great service, staff helpful and attentive. Great destination, clear waters, beach and the view of sunsets (and storms) from terraces with a view of the Dalmatian Islands. Spa experience was in the main absolutely heavenly. (One rather “robust” massage was the only exception- a clear difference in service between team members). Evening entertainment perfect for those seeking rest and relaxation. There’s a nice sense of effort to dress code and people turn up to sit quietly and converse with background live music. If you’re looking for something more lively you’ll be disappointed. The resort is remote from Split Airport, but there’s lots of beautiful scenery en- route to take in on the drive.
