I originally booked a standard room with a standard bed, but then I got it from the guy at the front desk and upgraded it to a luxurious king bed for free. This is what I took in the photos. Last year I wanted to visit Zhenjiang, and I finally made the trip at the beginning of this year. The beauty of Zhenjiang is beyond stunning, and this stay at Crowne Plaza Zhenjiang Zhaohe should have added a perfect impression to this trip. The location and the high-speed rail station are only about 10 minutes' drive away. Check-in was smooth. After learning that I was a member, I was given a member drink coupon. The lobby is clean and tidy, the girl at the front desk is enthusiastic, and the river view room faces the river. Although the weather is a bit hazy, on a clear day you can still clearly see the lake island and riverside scenery opposite. The hotel is very close to Beigu Mountain and can be reached on foot. It is a bit far to walk to Xijin Ferry and Jinshan Temple, but the bus is only 2 stops (3 stops) and 5 stops respectively, which is very convenient (Zhenjiang bus is 1 yuan). Taking a taxi to Xijindu costs about 8 yuan, and taking a taxi to Jiaoshan costs about 12 yuan. I am very grateful to the hotel’s customer service manager, Manager Tang Gan. When we asked about the problem, he was very enthusiastic. Not only did he help solve the problem quickly, but he also gave us a small gift box of Zhenjiang balsamic vinegar and fruits, which made us feel at home. After all, it is from Crown. Service, Crown quality. The breakfast in the hotel is very rich, and the executive lounge on the 23rd floor has a good view. It is quiet and suitable for slowly enjoying the river view. The overall experience is very good. I will choose to stay at Crowne Plaza Zhaohe next time if I have the opportunity.

My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. HOWEVER, there is only one small problem. When you book a room, please check very carefully if the room you are booking has a window or not. On the Trip.com site, it says; 'Has a window' 'Partially has a window' 'A fixed window' or something like this. Not only see some photos of the rooms on the website, but also carefully check if the room you are booking surely has a window or not. When I checked-in, I was told that my room had NO window. It was O.K. if you were in your room only to sleep, because the room is large enough, clean enough and comfortable enough. Nothing is wrong with the room itself at all. However, I found on the following morning that I could not see how the weather was like until I actually went outside, because I could not see outside from the window.

We lived in Bao's Qianzhuang room type, as if we had crossed to the Republic of China. Sun Yat-sen used to stay here. The hotel retains the characteristics of the Republic of China, as well as wooden carved windows and stone carved floor tiles, which have cultural heritage. Breakfast is a Zhenjiang pot cover noodles and soup package package, combined with buffet. The reception staff at the front desk were very enthusiastic and professional, and patiently introduced the nearby play guides.
