We got a free upgrade as we are visiting during the lull period. The nice room is nicely equipped, nicely maintained, and has a large balcony looking out at the river. Both the day and night views are amazing. Special shout out to Whitney Huang who took very good care of us at breakfast. We got free entrance to the onsen area as part of the hotel stay - which was amazing.

The only regret is that the location is a bit far away from the high-speed rail and too close to the train at night.
