We got in early in the morning before our check in time and the hotel was still willing to pick us up from the train station. They even gave us a different room so that we could check in early. The room was clean and warm. The staff was very welcoming and helped us get to the bus station too. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

We had a great two-night stay at the Xianglai Inn. It is a short drive from the Zhangjiajie west railway station, to which we were offered rides whenever we needed by staff. The clean and inviting rooms were only outmatched by the service here. Access to Zhangjiajie National Park was easy following directions from staff, taking a cheap 30-minute bus to the park's east gate.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as it was very close to the train station. New hotel, new renovation, clean and tidy, though the toilet has a hole in the floor) there is no elevator. But the woman at the reception offered to help bring the bags to the 4th floor.
