This hotel is the best one in my 12-day trip in Switzerland. The details of the hotel are very good. The minibar in the room is free, there is beer bubble water, etc. The room is large and can be used for extra beds. There are some hot foods outside, which are included in the room rate. It is a very careful hotel. There are many things to send, chocolate, special drinks, sweets, etc. Many details can reflect that this is a high-powered hotel, although the hotel is Half-mountain, but it does not affect travel at all. There is a hotel bus transfer to and from the train station, and the hotel has a direct elevator to the foot of the mountain. The elevator is the entrance to the rothorn, very good!

The hotel environment is very good, very quiet, breakfast is also very good, croissant Switzerland is not the best to eat. I am a senior double bed. The room is small, but it can be tolerated. The location of the hotel is far from the train station and it takes about 15 minutes to walk. Just get unfamiliar, you can choose to take a taxi, 17 Swiss francs.

This hotel is a bit far away from the train station. When I went to navigate, I passed the train track and had to move the boxes. It was very hard. When I came back, I led a road that didn't need to cross the train track. You can see the Matterhorn from the balcony of the room you booked. The breakfast was ok, and the hot sausage was great. It took a lot of trouble to book this hotel. It was obviously guaranteed to pay in advance. The result was that the payment was directly deducted and settled in US dollars. As a result, the cost was a lot more. Fortunately, Ctrip was more able to help solve it.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms comfortable (if a bit dated). Great location. It’s about a 2 minute walk to an elevator which takes you to down to the Sunnega funicular railway. You can ski back to the same point. Getting in to town is also easy. They have an arrangement with the hotel across the road to use their elevator which takes you down to very close to the town centre. Using this lift, you can walk to the main street in about 10 minutes. They will pick you up & drop you at the station when you arrive/depart as long as you arrive before 7pm. Breakfast is a buffet with a good selection of cereals, breads, cheeses, cold meats, juices, yoghurt, etc. There is bacon and scrambled egg, and a machine to boil eggs should you wish. The hotel across the road (Schönegg) has a great indoor bar, terrace bar with fabulous Matterhorn view, and a very good restaurant (if you watched The Night Manager, it’s where Olivia Coleman met with Tom Hiddlestone). Some rooms have baths, some just showers. The “toiletries” they provide are very basic. A hand soap dispenser and a shampoo dispenser. I’d also recommend you bring your own hairdryer if you need one as the one provided isn’t great. Zermatt is an expensive resort and you get what you pay for. I thought this hotel was excellent considering its price point. I’d happily go back.

Really enjoyed this hotel and found it friendly and welcoming from the point of our arrival to the morning of our departure. Reception staff were fabulous, and the staff in the restaurants brilliant too. Breakfasts were amazing and the evening food (we were on half-board) was outstanding. Rooms were clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Our only minor gripe would be that Room 205 is situated right next to the spar: you still have a good view of the Matterhorn, but when the spa is open those using it also have a great view right on to your balcony and in to your room, so privacy was an issue. Beyond that, no complaints at all.
