The 'bungalow' [house to us] was a 6 bed VIP one. Loved the sauna and jacuzzi. There were 5 of us and the smallest bedroom was a bit cramped, but if you're only sleeping there, it's fine. The kitchen was well equipped - not just the one knife fork and spoon per person! The boys loved the aqua centre and our 13yr old especially enjoyed the rapids [which he called the lazy river - it's not!] and apparently went down over 400 times. The park itself was clean and well kept. We were nicely situated - not too far from the centre, not too far from the beach. Liked the bowling idea of paying for an hour, not just a game As like all Center Parcs, extras work out expensive for a family - we hired bikes on 2 days as we weren't sure if we would use them much, but I'd advise hiring them for the week, cost-wise. Restaurants on site were limited in choice, closed 8 or 8:30 and we didn't think they were great value for money; likewise the onsite shop was expensive

We stayed for 7 nights in a vip lodge. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and we loved the daily bread delivery. The jacuzzi bath and sauna were a lovely treat especially as the weather was very windy and rainy during our visit. The kids loved the Aqua Mundo especially the wild river and Aqua cinema . Ghe wave pool wsdnt working. My only criticism would be of the pool rule that children must wear a life jacket or float if they are unable to swim less than 50 meters. Not something I have come across at other centre parks in the UK or France. We wanted our son who is 7 and can swim 25 meters to practice his swimming daily whilst on holiday but wasn't able do this ,as when I took his vest off I was pounced upon by a lifeguard and told he must wear it. I explained that he can swim and plus the jacket was rubbing him I was told that he must wear something and I had to be with him at all times and not even my teenage daughter could accompany him on the wild river. So no resting by the pool for me watching the kids have fun. I get that they have to ensure safety but it was too strict in my opinion. The bowling, action factory and mini golf were good. The daily food store was well stocked but very expensive compared to the local supermarket Dirk which was only a short walk away. We didn't eat at any of on on site resturants but can recommend Mangos beach bar on the beach for tapas and De zeerover for pancakes. The beach is lovely and very close by. The train station is only a 10min walk with trains direct into Amsterdam. All in all a lovely break away.

This park is not even close to the standard I’d expect from Center Parcs. After visiting Vossemereen in 2021 and loving it, we had high expectations. I feel like I’ve been transported back to 1974, it’s so dated and needs a full overhaul and refurb. It looks like it hasn’t been maintained at all over the winter, there are ****s everywhere and the pool looks (and feels!) like it hasn’t been cleaned since it was installed. The market area is small and not even fully open, not sure why in mid summer. The kids are having fun because they’re blind to this stuff but I am so disappointed that we’ve travelled all the way from the UK to here for our only summer holiday. I asked customer services if we could move to a different park mid week and they asked if it was a serious question and no I can’t. Stay clear!

First time ever staying at a centre parcs, decided to do one overseas. This one, the chalets were old but clean ( did have a lot of ants!) the chalet was very large so perfect for our large family and proper full cot and solid high chair provided for the baby. The outside area isn’t that nice for sitting outside your chalet, however we did t have the weather to use but if it was sunny would have been disappointed . The pool and indoor play centre were excellent and our kids 1,4,6 and 8 loved them, hours spent every day!! We prebooked some things as we’re worried would be booked out but everything was very quiet. The centre seemed full but people didn’t do activities, pool was only busy spot and not even that bad. People seem to use as a base. We hired bikes and left every afternoon too and went to the beach and restaurants in town and along beach. Definitely a nice break with kids!

Had a lovely three nights here in May half-term with my wife and daughter (10). Location is superb - not isolated miles away from anything like Center Parcs in the UK. Lovely beach is a 2-min walk away, Zandvoort town is 5 mins on foot as is the train station which goes to Amsterdam in half an hour and the lovely city of Haarlem in only 10 minutes (highly recommend). We had a beach chilla apartment and could not fault it at all - lovely kitchen/diner, open-plan lounge, main bedroom with double bed, kids room with bunk beds, decked out really nicely. Big garden with BBQ, kids' slide, table to eat outside. Swimming pool was really good, two big main indoor pools, a kids' pool, a decent slide, a heated outdoor pool and the rapids, which were a lot of fun. Little petting zoo and crazy golf for the kids was a bonus. Couple of restaurants and fast food options in the main dome - we ate at the pub a couple of times and it was decent for the money. In a separate building is the action zone with a big soft play which was great, although the fact the soft play shut at 6pm was a shame as we would have used it later. Also bowling and trampolines, which we didn't use, but looked decent. The Center Parcs itself is good and I was impressed by the facility, but what really makes it is the location and the fact you're not stuck on-site the whole time. It's a great base for some day trips. Also very handy for the F1 motor track, which you can just walk into for free (non-race days obvs) and watch the various cars flying round. Also very close to Ijmuiden ferry port, for those coming by boat, and the beach itself is superb.

We had a great stay here over the Easter holidays, as said in a previous review it is next to the beach and the F1 track. We stayed in a Premium villa (95) and the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed, no complaints whatsoever. Having stayed at Centre Parcs in the UK, Belgium and France the biggest difference here is this one isn’t set in a forest location, but in sand dunes (as it is so close to the beach), other than that you could be at any of the Centre Parcs as the swimming pool (outdoor heated pool was amazing), Market Dome, etc are so similar. In regards to swimming, if you are with children you will be asked if the my can swim a minimum of 100 metres, if they can’t they’ll have to wear a life jacket (provided for free) but something we weren’t aware of. I’d definitely stay here again!

Lovely renewed premium cottage, very clean and furnished to a good standard with everything you need. The site is very clean and the facilities are really good. The swimming pool and wild water rapids are great. It’s a 10 minute walk to a beautiful, vast beach, it’s next door to Zandvoort’s F1 racing track that you can go into and look around free of charge and it’s 25 minutes by train into Amsterdam. Don’t be put off by some of the poor reviews, the place has been renovated and is lovely. The place is located in an excellent location. Would highly recommend and is considerably cheaper than Center Parcs in the UK.

Stayed in the VIP premium cottage with my partner and son, my mum, brother and his partner and mother in law and this cottage is absolutely huge! Plenty of room for us all, the sauna and jacuzzi was a huge hit. The cottage itself was extremely well equipped and very clean. The complex is on the smallish side and it was quiet when we went, but that suited us all. Loved the bowling and what entertainment they did have on. The rapid flume at the aqua Mondo is where we spent most of our time, and the bowling too! We're no stranger to Holland as we have family there so out and about, there is plenty to do and great transport connections to Amsterdam etc. I would say it's more suited for the younger family. Lovely place to visit.

This is NOT a 4 star Center Parcs. Make it 2 or maybe 3. The swimming pool is very old, the only thing new is the outside wild water slide. You have to pay 7,50 euro extra only to get off the parking, reason being "it's close to the beach". Pizza was undercooked. Nobody asked of everything was fine, the act like they were busy but it wasn't that crowded, just no interest and a lot of students in the staff, no horeca quality. They don't take away empty plates until you make a new order, just to name an example. Plaza is totally different than other Center Parcs and the entertainment took a break of 30+ minutes with nothing to hear/do in-between. So if you're thinking about going to a Center Parcs, choose a different one.
