I recently had the pleasure of staying at Domes Aulus Zante, Autograph Collection, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Our group of 8 friends from London, UK, gathered at this newly refurbished resort to celebrate two special birthdays, and our week-long stay was nothing short of magical. What truly elevated our stay was the outstanding service provided by the Guest Relations Supervisor. Their dedication to ensuring our experience was extraordinary went above and beyond any expectations. They personalised every moment, meticulously arranging our specific requests made in advance. From the breathtaking flowers that welcomed our birthday guests upon arrival to organising a private catamaran excursion and securing reservations for special dinners, the Guest Relations Supervisor’s attention to detail was unparalleled. The exceptional dedication and commitment of the Guest Relations Supervisor to ensuring our stay was memorable were evident not only in their meticulous attention to detail but also in their swift problem-solving skills. When we encountered issues with our room, including a broken clothes steamer and lack of warm water, they immediately stepped in to rectify the situation. Despite our initial hesitation to voice our concerns, their approachable demeanour made us feel comfortable sharing our issues. Upon informing them about the problems, they promptly arranged for us to be moved to a larger room with a delightful private terrace. This new room not only solved the water problems but also came equipped with a functional steaming iron, proving to be incredibly useful during our stay. We don't understand the negative reviews written about this hotel, we have never stayed anywhere as a family where we felt our happiness was put front and centre like it was here. Due to food allergies and dietary needs communication was established with George the manager before flying, who quickly assured us that as soon as we arrived our needs would be noted and met, and they certainly were! Dinos the chef came out to speak to us every night about meals we could eat or what he could whip up in the kitchen for our daughter, and Esmeralda was extremely helpful in the morning and lunch time slots to make sure we had what was needed both always with a smile and a hello. The food is amazing, the variety was fantastic and nothing was too much, we didn't ask for anything special but I'm now slightly addicted to the fritters Dinos cooked up! If you are a vegan, the food they provided - the burgers, fake chicken, kebabs etc was way better than what is available in the UK supermarkets. They provided dairy free butter and cheese and always showed us the packaging to double check. Grateful to George for the supermarket runs! The hotel is very clean and maintained to a high standard, the majority of the staff are so lovely, polite and welcoming, and learning a few basic greek phrases such as hello and thank you just seemed to make their day. The pool and beach areas are fantastic, even if they were busy it wasn't long before beds became available. Inclusive drinks were good, including the beer. Evening entertainment was brilliant and the social areas outside and the rooftop bar were comfortable and always clean. The town is a short walk down the beach (got lost trying to go down the roads, use the beach to the main ***** then head up). Again this hotel was a fantastic stay, George and his team made us feel like family visiting - and honestly what more could you ask for. N.B. If you are reading this from the UK thinking of booking with TUI - please don't. They were abysmal from start to finish, from check in (one staff member 300 people to check in) to return, TUI were a waste of money, and the days they book you into the hotel make no sense, as a family we had to pay for an extra day as our pick up was 3am and check out was 11am the day before - this is not the Galaxy's fault, but TUIs and they don't listen nor care, Zante airport was full of disgruntled families and travellers from all over Zante 100-200 euros out of pocket because TUI couldn't organise a drink in a brewery. There were no reps around, and the reps available on the app were robotic and the most non empathic people ever communicated with. JET2 were seen at the hotel a few times, book with them. As a family we loved our stay at the Galaxy, George and his team, including Dinos and Esmerelda made our stay an unforgettable one.

So my partner and I stayed for 11 nights here and enjoyed every minute of it . The staff were lovely and very pleasant and Lewis the TUI rep was so helpful and a credit to TUI . When we arrived it was his first day at the hotel but seeing how confident he'd become by the time we left was fantastic . I am staggered to read some reviews whom say that there were ”hidden extras” as this certainly wasn't the case as we knew about the air con as its only free during the peak season but we didn't need it anyway as it was cool enough in our room . The safe and wi-fi charges were also outlined before we'd even got on the plane and the visitor tax is pretty much common place in a lot of holidays nowadays . The food was on the whole very decent and quite varied but the desserts were better still !!! The staff also deserve a big shout also as everyone was so helpful and friendly , particularly Faithi who amazed us both at how bilingual he is and the manager who we spoke to briefly on the last day . We'll done to everyone at the Posiedon.......we will be back !!!

I don’t usually write reviews but this hotel was the worst I’ve stayed in so far I don’t know where to start as there’s so much to say. Firstly I booked this as a 4 star hotel and upon arrival it had dropped to a 3 star and I can see why. We was met by a rude lady demanding fees and a 50€ deposits as soon has we got to the desk for any damages that may occur, but when we asked for a kettle that was missing in our room and the safe code she wasn’t interested in helping baring in mind I like a tea in the morning so this was quite important to me. We also struggled to get any sleep as the music was so loud every night between 1-2am you could hear everything then when it did go off this truck would appear to clean the pool or drains or something the noise was ridiculous, the balconies wasn’t the best no privacy to the people either side, shower gel and loo roll wasn’t replaced for the 7 nights we stayed, cracked tiles, cracked toilet, broken toilet seat, two single beds joint together with a big dip in between with a dirty uncomfortable mattress topper. The cleaner left our balcony door open if your could call them cleaners, and then to top it all off the night I was showering all the water went off. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and the rooms look nothing like the pictures they must have one or two nice suits for photos and I’ve noticed the owner likes to be rude to anyone leaving a review he doesn’t approve of so before you write a reply I have some lovely photos of all of this and one more that would be of great interest to the right people.
