This hotel is amazing, I’m a diamond member and this was the nicest Garden Inn I have ever stayed in. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom design could be a little better, you had to close the door to use the sink. The people at the front desk were so helpful. They helped us figure out how to get to old town, we walked. Instead of walking along a busy street they told us to walk by their green belt instead, it was only 5 minutes longer. They also arranged for a breakfast box for us on the day we checked out. Most hotels would give you a piece of fruit, fruit bar and water. The Garden Inn gave us a menu to choose from with sandwiches (both with meat and veggie), option of fruit, yogurt and something to drink. The standard buffet breakfast was very nice. Good selections and good quality items. There was parking in the back of the hotel, but there was also underground parking. It cost 15E a day. There were a number of restaurants in the area and a market across the street. Highly recommend. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and it was an easy drive.

We have just stayed for 1 night, the hotel is fantastic, very comfy beds, excellent breakfast and we had dinner in the restaurant, the pizza was wonderful.excellent wine and service. Very clean and modern rooms. Also very close to the bus station for our onward journey to Zadar. I would recommend the hotel and I will definitely return if I am In Zagreb

The only thing good about this small hotel is the location and the hot shower. Everything else was not as expected from such high review ratings! I came a with a friend, we booked separate rooms at the same time and price. When we got to the hotel we each were given very different rooms. I got to the hotel first and asked for a room on a high floor with a view. Lady at check in said it wasn't possible as the hotel was full. A few minutes later my friend arrived and got a lovely room on the top floor with windows and lots of sunlight. Meanwhile I am in a dark room on a lower floor with no light or view and a balcony that is a joke. There was only one bath towel and a hand towel on the first day, the next day the same but one face cloth added, third day two complete sets of towels but no face cloth. I didn't need or want to have the towels changed every day! There was a useless kitchenette in the corner. No microwave and no dish towels or paper towels. There was a bottle of Coke and water in the mini fridge but it was not clear if it was supposed to be there. The mini fridge in my friend's room had a few more beverages in it and a price list, but there was no price list in my room. The temperature and fan control in my room never worked and the instructions given in the room notes were not clear. You also needed to read the instructions to get the TV channels, it wasn't just click on and watch. There was a robe in my room but no tissues or note pad and pen. The staff was not very knowledgeable about tram and bus - yet there was a tram stop just behind the hotel. I am not sure how this hotel was rated so highly but it doesn't deserve it.

Tho' officially 4Star, the service here is clear 5*. Have stayed at 5Star hotels, always pretty ... but staff too often more interested in the high profile clientele. At Hotel Capital, we were treated like well-loved family members... and our evening meals were delicious and lovingly delivered with custom wine choices for every course. Truly memorable! By the way ... the bed was VERY comfy... with several pillow choices, too! All this aside from the fact that its location is only a couple of blocks from the heart of the city... shopping, tourism, and restaurants galore!

We were overwhelmed with the space, design and comfort of this little home. The hosts were like family from the first minute till we left. The proximity to downtown ( less than 10 min walk) made our visits n dropping home so easy. The big windows brought in the gorgeous sun light in the space. Though in a Main Street, it was utterly quiet. Zagreb is a safe place to visit and a heaven for the foodies and party sceners!! Once you come here, you will always return. The location is great. You can go shopping right away! Although the hotel is relatively old, it is very clean. The room is filled with the smell of soap as soon as you enter! There are not many types of breakfast, you can order bread, ham, eggs and a small amount of fruit! Overall not bad

very clean and beautiful apartment in the old centre of the city,together with a beautiful super model boss Maria, she even send tissue to me at night in the cold winter,very impressive ! 👍

Excellent functional structure and close to the center of Zagreb. Clean and comfortable rooms. Recommended for all who want to visit Zagreb. Cleaning 10 Comfort 10 Services 10 Tom the owner is a very nice and available person.

Late night driving past and we stopped over for a night to rest. Hotel is big and rooms are very spacious. Car parking available next door in a public car park which links directly to the hotel lobby. Service is good and hotel is comfortable.
