__M1348870****I was in Japan for a business trip and unfamiliar with Yokohama, so I picked this hotel because it looked relatively new. The price was also good. It was truly worth it.
This hotel is in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama, quite close to the city center (the Westin might be further along, but it's more expensive). It's very convenient to get here from the Minatomirai train station. The front desk and restaurant on the 20th floor have a very upscale vibe. I recommend staying on the city view side because if you're lucky, you might even see Mount Fuji! It's a 10-minute walk to the Red Brick Warehouse, the Ferris wheel, and the Pacifico Yokohama convention center, and the 4th floor of Mark Is on the way has plenty of affordable restaurants.
The hotel breakfast is absolutely amazing and delicious (though eating it for four consecutive days might get a bit much, lol). I also had dinner there, which was excellent. There's also a sky pool, but it's not really set up for taking trendy Instagram photos. The service is exceptional; they can even help with self check-in/check-out.
I'd definitely want to stay here again the next time I visit Yokohama.
MM44575****Location: It was quite convenient that there's an elevator directly from Exit 4 of Odori Station in Japan, with the hotel's name on it. Of course, Yokohama Station would be even more convenient.
Service: Pretty good. I didn't encounter anyone who spoke Chinese at the front desk, but it wasn't a big issue. One day, I met a cleaning lady who was Chinese, and she was very friendly.
Cleanliness: Excellent, very new.
Facilities: The twin room was quite spacious (for Japan), and I slept comfortably. The kitchen in the room was fully equipped, which was great! It's a shame I didn't get a chance to buy meat and cook it myself. However, other aspects were a bit lacking; there were no complimentary skincare products like lotion, and the toiletries and hairdryer were quite basic. There's a common lounge area on one floor with plenty of amenities, and the coffee machine worked very well.
GGuest UserLocation is perfectly located near to NORTH WEST Exit of Yokohama Station. Many restaurants around 2mins walk out of hotel buildings. There were a few eateries below the hotel building too.
Nippon car rental is 3-5mins walk away as well.
Breakfast was bad, it was stated on trip.com as BUFFET, but it is not the case. There is only choice of mains per pax, and the buffet is just some tiny Japanese sides and juices. The restaurant staffs were rude and unlikable. The main course portion is pathetically small, and request for additional food is a straight NO by the rude servers. Even kids who we were told that can enjoy the breakfast free was just allowed to take the side dishes to eat, which were unsuitable for young kids, request for a set of mains / additional cooked sunny sides up for 2.5years old kid were rejected. So i dont understand what they meant when they say kids is non-chargeable for the breakfast. (I would assume if non chargeable means they would have some proper food prepared for young children FOR FREE, instead of asking us to grab side dishes from the counters to feed the kids. Eg of side dishes, pickled radish, tamago egg, pickled enoki, tofu)
Trip.com NEEDS TO EDIT THE POSTING THAT IT IS NOT A BUFFET!
Hotel reception staff is on the other hand friendly, but they have very few english speaking staffs
JJinRongThe hotel's location is excellent! 👍 Using the Hakone Free Pass, we took the Odakyu Line for free to Machida Station, then used our Suica card to transfer to the JH and TY lines to Shin-Takashima Station. From there, it was just a short walk across one intersection to the hotel. It's in the same building as KT, so it was easy to find. We checked in at the front desk on the 9th floor. The room wasn't very big, a rectangular shape, but we managed to fit one suitcase by the door and another on the desk by the window. After dropping off our luggage, we took a fifteen-minute stroll to Yokohama Station for some ramen 🍜 and to browse the drugstores. I was surprised by how lively Yokohama Station was at night. The next morning, we had a very hearty breakfast (seafood rice was my favorite – definitely a highlight!). We then took the train to Kamakura and Enoshima. On the way back, we got off at Ishikawacho Station from Kamakura-koko-mae Station and had some delicious Shokusai Wagyu, then braved the rain to explore Chinatown. On the third morning, the weather was beautiful, so we decided to walk ten minutes to Yokohama Landmark Tower and Minato Mirai 21 to check them out 🎊. We got back at 8:45, just in time to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Check-out was at 10:00, and the elevators were at their busiest then, so expect to queue. You can help yourself to skincare products and other amenities at the front desk. Apart from not providing bottled water, everything else was perfect.
EE1068****The hotel's location, accessibility, and value for money are all excellent. This time, we booked a connecting room for our family of three, and the two rooms and two bathrooms were really great.
According to the reviews, it was supposed to be very close, but even after exiting the large Yokohama Station East Exit, it still took us some time to find the hotel. I specifically took photos to provide the quickest and most convenient route for future guests. Make sure to exit from the North-East Exit A, and you'll be right there.
We didn't book breakfast, but the coffee shop downstairs at the hotel also offers good breakfast options. A hearty breakfast there will keep you full for the whole day.
SShiori SCThe hotel is located next to the JR station and opposite the Keikyu Station. Whether going to the airport or to Tokyo or Yokohama, transportation is very convenient. The counter staff are friendly and polite. There are free coffee machines and tea bags available for use. There are a wide variety of personal packaging cleaning and maintenance products, including cotton swabs and hair ties, and there are four types of bath powder to choose from. The room is clean and comfortable. The 25-inch and 29-inch suitcases can be fully opened and laid flat. The TV screen is much larger than other business hotels. The hot water temperature in the bathroom is stable and the water pressure is normal. It is impeccable and can be included in the frequently used list.
CCHUNLIThe hotel is incredibly convenient, located right next to Shin-Yokohama Station – you can spot it immediately to your right after exiting. Getting to Chinatown by subway was also a breeze. The breakfast spread was plentiful and varied, and the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the subway station. The room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive, and the breakfast is good. However, the room is a bit small. It is very convenient to get to the tourist attractions and is suitable for solo travelers.
MM315664****The location is quite convenient. From Exit 3 of Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Toyoko Line, turn left and walk straight. When you see 7-Eleven, turn left again. At the end of the street, look up to your top right, and you'll spot the hotel sign. Walk in, and that's the hotel entrance. The hotel is situated within Chinatown, so there are plenty of Chinese restaurants around. The hygiene is good, but the bedding (sheets, pillowcases, duvet cover, towel) seems a bit old.
DDavid K T SoHotel location supposed to be good as it is adjacent to Yokohama Station. However, there is no direct connection between the hotel and the underground mall, I have to lift 3 heavy luggages from train station level (B2) up the stairs in the Joinus underground mall south exit 12. That alone have killed me. I think the hotel avoid telling customers about this great disadvantage. Even after entering the hotel, the front reception is another tens of stairs down to 1F like a split level building, which was extremely inconvenient! The hotel is like travelling back in time to the 70's, almost antique in today's standard. Room key is not a card type but a physical metal key! Room was still spacious (mine was triple room) but having no modern amenities, not enough power outlet for phone charging and/or computer. No storage or drawers, bathroom was extremely small and crowded. My booking included buffet breakfast, which was a surprise, food selection was good, but there were not many customers, one morning my family virtually was thw only table in the entire grand dining room! I can say I have mixed feeling about this hotel, if you have many luggages and arrived by train, think twice as you have to lift your luggages up 34 stairs from B2 to ground level.
