This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

Very beautiful hotel with excellent facilities like swimming pool, sauna, hot/cold pool, gym, restaurants. Very attentive and helpful staffs. Hotel allowed us to use sauna, gym and hot/cold pool even after we have checked out. Highly recommended.

We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

I booked a 5 star hotel to ensure there are the full facilities. When I arrived the pool and gym were under maintenance. I complained to Trip as they and the hotel should inform guests of this when they book. When Trip raised this with the hotel, the hotel refused to offer any level of compensation. So for this reason, they receive a low score. I also told Trip they need to change their T&C’s.

Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

Not too badly located near the TUGU monument and walk away from Malioboro, the modern establishment deserves to be reported, pleasant staff, Modern room larger than the average, basic but clean, safe (it is important), small table and chair, bed with a little soft mattress, 2 bottles of water... Paper muffins, wifi ok. Also right bathroom, toothbrushes ...By contrast window store is not really hermetical on the edge lets pass light ...Quiet enough despite street traffic. Buffet breakfast with some Indonesian dishes, egg station, but also fruit, pudding, toasts, butter confection ... A business for Yogya, really low price for the westerns.

With a very affordable price I got such high quality facilities such as hot water, tv with premium channels, super cold AC, comfortable bed, a very strategic location. I stayed 2 nights here, on Saturday I stayed I thought the room was cleaned but it wasn't cleaned. The toiletries are not refilled as well as drinking water, the garbage in the room is not thrown, the sheets and the badcovers are not changed even though as I know the SOP of the inn once a day is changed and cleaned. In the room also no hotel slippers provided so I asked at the front desk first. Please pay more respect to the staff as well as the manager can check the performance of the staff. I didn't have time to take photos because I was stunned by myself with the messy room that was not cleaned. I stayed in room 28 on 13-15oct 2023. Thank you.

Hello Santika Jogja. Actually this is my first visit this hotel, but I think I will back again to this hotel when we visit Jogja in the future. We love the desain of the lobby. Beautiful, with Java ornamen, clean, a lot of sitting area, so when we still waiting to get the room or just arrived from outside and need to chilling before enter the room, the lobby area is perfect place. Location near from Tugu monumen and some of local cafe. If we need to go to Malioboro we can reach by walking or using becak (cost around 20/25k rupiah). If you don't mind to walking, my suggestion is go to Malioboro by walking. We can visit some cafe, gelato store, bakpia store and buy some souvenir and of course taking some photos at the Tugu monumen. Room condition was good, clean bathroom, fast wifi, and for the breakfast menu, is good enough and mostly served the local foods with delicious and good presentation. Overall best 4 star hotel in Jogja city centre.
