This is a fancy place in a historical building in walking distance from the historical city centre. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the cuisine is excellent and the breakfast buffet wowed us. Food is served i.a. on an inner court, which is peaceful and quiet, away from the street noise. The pool, lays protected, and doesn’t have direct sunlight as of noon, which comes handy since these are the tropics.

We booked the Melia Purosani directly through their website for a number of stays as it provided a good value price which included a 10-minute massage per room booking, a discount on food, and a room upgrade. On our first stay, we were upgraded to a ”Level” room on the sixth floor which came with Level Lounge privileges including afternoon tea. Having re-booked for three separate nights our expectations were that we would receive the same benefits. It seems our first stay involved a better-than-usual upgrade and we were very embarrassed to be turned away from the Level Lounge on our next stay - despite being in a Level Lounge room. Live and learn! The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are well-presented. Reception staff is courteous and helpful, and so too was the concierge at the Level Lounge who ”righted” the embarrassing situation we faced. The gardens and pool area are tropical, leafy, and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was adequate, but not super fast/ The property is within easy walking distance of Jalan Malioboro and other local attractions. I have rated the hotel's less-than-excellent restaurant El Patio separately. Truth be told, service and afternoon tea in the Level Lounge was superior to the restaurant.

I booked a 5 star hotel to ensure there are the full facilities. When I arrived the pool and gym were under maintenance. I complained to Trip as they and the hotel should inform guests of this when they book. When Trip raised this with the hotel, the hotel refused to offer any level of compensation. So for this reason, they receive a low score. I also told Trip they need to change their T&C’s.

Staying in this Hotel is one of the best experience I had. Name of this hotel become EMERSIA HOTEL MALIOBORO. Location of this hotel is strategic, walking distance to Malioboro Street, Tugu Train Station & Tugu Yogya Monument. Good option to explore Malioboro area ,to avoid traffic jam and spend more time if you want to go to Malioboro street. Room is huge (booking deluxe room) , clean , & room facilities also good.Food during breakfast delicious & have many option. Good service from this hotel crew (reception, waitress & technician) , they are very attentive. I have a problem with hot water, and they are following up immediately. Minor thing from my side : because Im smoker , they dont provide smoking room for deluxe room type.This hotel only provide smoking room for superior room type. Maybe in the future this hotel can provide smooking for all room type . Overall staying in this hotel is highly recommended. Thank You

The room is quite large with quite complete facilities unfortunately lacking care and the air is a pleasant shade. The room lights are less bright so it's like the person is told to sleep directly. The TV is good with complete channels. Staying here can sleep well because the atmosphere is comfortable. Breakfast menu is minimal with normal taste. Staying for 3 days is practically not varied.

Buffet breakfast with some Indonesian dishes, egg station, but also fruit, pudding, toasts, butter confection ... A business for Yogya, really low price for the westerns.

Beautiful, with Java ornamen, clean, a lot of sitting area, so when we still waiting to get the room or just arrived from outside and need to chilling before enter the room, the lobby area is perfect place. Location near from Tugu monumen and some of local cafe. If we need to go to Malioboro we can reach by walking or using becak (cost around 20/25k rupiah). If you don't mind to walking, my suggestion is go to Malioboro by walking. We can visit some cafe, gelato store, bakpia store and buy some souvenir and of course taking some photos at the Tugu monumen. Room condition was good, clean bathroom, fast wifi, and for the breakfast menu, is good enough and mostly served the local foods with delicious and good presentation. Overall best 4 star hotel in Jogja city centre.

Treasure Hotel looks like a manor. It has complete facilities inside. The hot water is very large and hot. The bed is super comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are very enthusiastic. Although there is a slight language barrier, they tried their best to use translation software to help us arrange laundry, express delivery, etc. Serve. We set off to Borobudur early in the morning, and the hotel packed breakfast, which was quite exquisite. It's very close to the train station, about ten minutes' walk. There's a treasured shoe store opposite, picture 4, worth a visit.

this is a low key guest house with traditional javanese decor. the guest house is smacked in central jogja. there is an ATM, convenience store, and several laundromats within 5 min walk from the guest house. room is small and cozy. staff are friendly. housekeeping is meticulous. only negatives are some minor maintenance issues and toilet sink being a tad too small.
