Golden Gulf Hotel Yantai Reviews

It was our first visit to Yantai. The room, located at high floor with a full ocean view, really made our stay in the hotel a perfect choice. The hotel staff are friendly and always available to help. The best part was on our arrival on 20May, our room was beautifully decorated (see photo). Many thankd to Manager Ms Serena for making such great efforts in welcoming us. This hotel gave us a perfect stay. Will be back.

Lovely stay. The hotel is in a great location, with kind staff and good amenities. The building itself is a little old, but still has a charm, and I enjoyed my staff. Thank you to the hardworking staff

Rooms are great... see view is nice on the bay... must be amazing from the rooms with balconary in summer.... Thans a lot to SERENA for the nice welcome and friendly service... hotel is at a dead end of the roads, so very quiet and silent at night. 300m from famous bar street and light house park. we will come back in week end

This hotel is amazing, and I mean it! The location is perfect for everything: there are major sites, the sea, the beach. It was the best sea view you could hope for! Both the buffet and a la carte are delicious and affordable (and with the view as well). Special thanks goes to the staff and the cervice. Everyone was super helpful, attentive, polite and professional. Serena at the front desk answered every possible question and assisted with everything! The room has all the facilities you could wish for and lots of complimentary water and fruits. I will definitely come again and recommend it to friends.

I would highly recommend the hotel as the perfect location, cleanliness & services. Greeting fruits & Yogurt make your feel you are so welcomed. Every single staff you come across would greet you at any time. It’s very close to the scenic area of Mount Yantai, A lot of varieties for the breakfast.

The hotel is located in a good position. Breakfast is acceptable. Only one receptionist can speak in English. Unfortunately there is not the possibility to get a fapiao as the others hotel in China.

Far from airport

The room was well-arranged. There was a terrace garden in front of the window. You could walk in the terrace garden in the morning and enjoy the scenery and the sea. Especially when we just checked in, we were warmly received and warmly arranged by Wang Jingmei, the assistant manager of the lobby, which made us feel like home. Especially during our three-day stay, we were cared for and taken care of by her every day, for which we are deeply grateful. In addition, the breakfast of the hotel was rich and tasted great. I will definitely choose Golden Bay Hotel when I come again in the future!

This was a pleasant trip. The hotel is strategically located at the foot of Yantai Mountain and next to Chaoyang Street, which is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. What is even more heartwarming is the careful work of the housekeeper Xiao Li, which can be said to be a plus for the hotel's soft power! Come on, I hope that Golden Bay Hotel will become better and better, and also for the housekeeper. Thumbs up for Xiao Li!

The housekeeper Xinhui is very responsible and prepared small gifts and yogurt for the children, which is very thoughtful. The hotel is very close to Chaoyang Street and Yantai Mountain. The sea at the door is very beautiful, and there are scenery and beaches along the coastline. The only bad suggestion is to replace the hotel's bathtub with a shower, which is more convenient. The experience will be better.

The hotel is right by the sea, backed by Yantai Mountain, and close to Chaoyang Street and Changyu Wine Culture Museum. The environment is great 👍🏻. You can watch the sunrise over the sea from the balcony of the room 🌅 There is an open-air barbecue, the taste is good, the scenery is beautiful, and the photos are beyond the film! The hotel front desk service is enthusiastic and responsive! The housekeeper Xiaochu is very considerate and the arrangements are very good! A very satisfactory stay, it is a treasure hotel that I will definitely choose next time I go to Yantai!

Golden Bay Hotel is high-end and tasteful in every aspect. I originally booked two nights, and extended it for two more nights. I was reluctant to leave. 1 The service is excellent. Everyone is smiling, greets each other, and provides thoughtful service. Let me talk about two things I have experienced. Example 1: Enjoying personal service. I just checked in as an online special room purchaser. Ms. Wang Muhan, the assistant manager of the hotel lobby, added me on WeChat, asked enthusiastically, and solved the problem of renewal difficulty in a timely manner. Thank you! Example 2: Always responsive. Yesterday, the zipper of my shoulder bag hooked on my folding umbrella, and I couldn't untie it no matter how hard I tried. I asked for help from a scholar-like man in the lobby. He didn't say a word and buried his head in repairing it. Later, he asked a colleague to come to the door with pliers to provide door-to-door service, and immediately solved the trouble that made me helpless. Thank you! 2 Super value and happiness. The sea view buffet restaurant on the first floor has delicious food and beautiful scenery. The sun garden on the second floor can barbecue and watch the sunrise and sunset of the sea in the morning and evening. I watched the sunrise today, and the waiter told me yesterday that it would be 4:33, which was accurate! The perfect sunrise makes people feel trance. 3 Humanistic hotel. The room is clean and elegant, with a reading light at the bedside, and a large book "Illustrated Yantai Old Houses" is provided free of charge. Flipping through old photos, looking at the consulate just outside the window, and the tourists flashing by on the trail of Yantai Mountain Scenic Area... It's so comfortable! By the way, there are many magpies here because it is a paradise. Yantai Golden Bay Hotel, beautiful people and beautiful scenery, everything is praiseworthy!

This is my fifth visit to Yantai. As always, I chose Golden Bay Hotel. I like Golden Bay because the hotel is in a good location. Yantai Mountain and Chaoyang Street are right outside the door. You can hear the sound of the sea while sitting in the room. You can go to the sea (children's favorite) and stroll on the beautiful beach within a short walk. The room is very warm and comfortable. The hotel service is in place, especially the butler service launched by the hotel, which has greatly enhanced the hotel's soft power. Special thanks to our butlers Yang Lifeng and Wang Muhan for their meticulousness and thoughtfulness. They carefully prepared small gifts and toiletries for the children. Seeing that our room did not include breakfast, they prepared simple meals and fruits for us. Love is returned to those who give love, and blessings are returned to those who give blessings. I sincerely wish them all the best and wish the hotel a prosperous business.
