Atour X Hotel, West Market, Yanji Department Store

On vacation in Yanji, a hotel's reception and service quality are really put to the test. Overall, the service was decent, and the room was decent. Compared to the price, it wasn't great value for money. There was a queue for laundry, but they have their own parking, which is convenient. It's not far from the internet-famous wall, within walking distance.

The hotel is clean and tidy, conveniently located, and the service is on point. The 'Miao Cui Jiao' service was excellent!

Excellent location! It's only a 3-minute walk to Seomun Market, and the top-rated cold noodle restaurants are also just 3-5 minutes away. The fantastic location makes it easy to overlook the older building and surrounding area. It's also not far from popular tourist attractions.

The hotel's location is great, very close to Xishi Market. Xishi Market has a lot of local specialties, and there are many excellent food options nearby, like Jindalai Cold Noodles and Hanzheng Ginseng Chicken Soup. There are also high-end, mid-range, and low-end shopping malls, making it a great place to shop around.

I had originally planned to stay at the Mehood Lestie, which just opened across the street this year. However, when we arrived, there was a power outage! The hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, so the elevators weren't working, and no one answered the front desk phone. So, despite all the glowing online reviews, I immediately cut my losses and switched hotels, which is how I serendipitously ended up at Atour. As always, Atour's quality and management are excellent. They have a laundry room, gym, and even a late-night congee service. My only complaint this time is that the Deluxe Twin Room I stayed in was exceptionally small, so small that it instantly reminded me of hotel rooms in Japan. If I have the chance to stay here again, I won't book a Deluxe room; I'll only book an Executive room (P.S. The room in the picture is an Executive room).

The cleaning service was excellent, and the cleaning staff were very responsive. However, the noise level was poor. It was quite noisy outside the room, and there was noticeable low-frequency noise inside, so light sleepers should definitely take this into consideration.

The room was spacious. The bedside tables and sofa were a bit older compared to the other facilities, but the room overall was very clean. It had a smart toilet, a full-length mirror, and a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The laundry room had excellent facilities. There are also many good restaurants near the hotel. Xingdou Restaurant is particularly good – generous portions, delicious, and affordable.

The hotel is located in Yanji's CBD, offering a great environment and convenient access to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

The service was excellent, and they even upgraded my room for free! The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even prepared some chips and snacks for me. The laundry service was also great, and the room itself was very comfortable to stay in.
