Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The receptionists Tina and Cathy helped us on many occasions and were very friendly from the beginning until the end. It's the best service that we have encountered now during our trip. The view from our room as well as from the top floor was simply amazing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Service is exceptional, they provide FREE cultural outfits and accessories for photo-taking within the hotel. Didn’t expect it but the swimming pool looks exactly like the official photos. Also, water pressure is comfortable. :)

A wonderful hotel on the riverbank, near West street, but on a quiet street. New clean rooms. We have been upgraded rooms, for which thank you very much. Delicious breakfasts even for europeans. A good restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices for everything. Several English-speaking employees. Dear Qin helped and told us about everything that can be seen in Yangshuo and the surrounding area. Thanks a lot to Qin, Joker, John and all the other staff who made our stay at the hotel and in Yangshuo unforgettable!

This time I stayed at the Half Day Yunshui Hotel, and the overall experience was great. The room is beautifully decorated and warm, with complete facilities, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, which made me sleep well all night. The bathroom is clean and tidy, and the toiletries are of good quality and exude a pleasant fragrance. The hotel service staff is enthusiastic, from the efficient and professional check-in to the cordial greetings when meeting in the corridor, which makes people feel like spring breeze. Breakfast is the local specialty Guilin rice noodles, as well as sweet potato, egg, steamed bun porridge, etc., which are delicious and rich. The only drawback is that the sound insulation effect of the room is slightly inferior, and occasionally you can hear the movement in the corridor. However, this small flaw does not affect my good impression of this hotel. Next time I come here, I will still choose this hotel and recommend it to all travelers

Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

I cannot recommend this experience enough!! I was blown away by both the hotel and the team (special thank you to Sarah, Bryan, and Zakaria!) This was truly personalised service. The team went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable and special one. From our private tour of the grounds, to booking us activities, to the smallest of thoughtful and considerate actions like remembering my Mum’s favourite drink and ensuring she didn’t have to ask for it. The room was stunning. The food was great. The experiences were lovely. The gym is fully equipped and with a visit. The bar is beautiful and the music is excellently curated throughout the day. The scenery, the art and the architecture make this place an unforgettable experience. Zakaria was truly a gentleman and was very considerate and attentive. The spa is spectacular and was such an unexpected treat (and 40% off during the day!). Thank you Sugar House team!

This is a very quiet, clean and accommodating hotel. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We asked for a King bed but it appears to be 2 queens (by North American standards). The beds are enormous! Please request for a non-smoking room if you detest smoking. We had a room with a balcony and view of the mountains and river. The other rooms had a tiny window, so upgrade to this room if your budget allows. There is complimentary bottled drinking water in the rooms and a complimentary drink upon arrival. The staff are very professional but do not really speak English. Bring a translator App. It’s very central and you can easily walk to the nightlife on West Street in 10 minutes. I would stay here again!

The staff at Lisa’s Hotel was super friendly and helpful with all our questions we had. they helped us planning a route we went on with bicycles we rent right at the hotel for the whole day. The staff was available on WeChat if we had any further questions or needed help. The hotel room was great. We slept like babies! Walking distance to the center of the city. Highly recommended from the couple from Germany :)

There is a huge swimming pool at the entrance of the hotel, which is 126 square meters! The Internet celebrity swimming pool is very good for taking photos. It has a great atmosphere. It is backed by mountains and has its own waterfall. The sky on the 3rd floor is where you can feel the nature. You can breathe the oxygen brought by nature at close range. It is surrounded by mountains and is also good for taking photos. The hotel also prepared afternoon tea in the afternoon. You can take beautiful photos. The buffet breakfast in the hotel's western restaurant is also very special. The environment is very good. There are more than 130 kinds of food to choose from. You can taste the characteristics of Guangxi here. There is also a children's playground in the hotel. It is so childlike! ! ! The service is also very considerate and the staff are very patient. The hotel is in a very good location. It is right outside the bustling Yangshuo West Street and backed by Yangshuo Park. You can wake up to the sound of birds in the morning and enjoy the beautiful scenery under the sunset at night.
