Breakfast is worse than the economy hotel, all waiting in line for soup powder, no other staple food, no meat, the coffee machine is also bad. The weather is not hot or cold, about 18 degrees, thick quilts, can not turn on the air conditioner, can not turn on the heating. At 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, I couldn't stand the hot consultation front desk. I knew that it was the central air conditioner. I couldn't adjust it myself. I finally changed the thin quilt, but the child was still sweating in the middle of the night. This is tied for the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The same room (about 90USD), but would have cost 300USD in Yangshuo or 1200USD in Singapore. Manager Yao was helpful, and the staff was attentive and supremely helpful (via WeChat) even though I didn't speak Chinese and they didn't speak English. I'd suggest Camel Peak over all other local attractions--it was better even than Bajiaozhai. Having a driver is ideal. This is a beautiful location in all seasons.
