In the alleys of Yancun, you can see a large field of rapeseed flowers just outside the backyard. The villagers live a leisurely life. The cockcrow and clouds in the morning are very quiet and rural. Butler Zheng of the B&B was enthusiastic and thoughtful. He led us to visit Yancun. Under his explanation, we learned a lot about the humanistic stories behind the Huizhou architecture. The environmental sanitation of the B&B is very good. It was renovated from several old buildings. Due to the wooden structure, , the only regret is that the sound insulation effect is not good. We live on the third floor, and we can hear the voices of other guests from time to time. Overall, I feel very good during my three days and two nights in Wuyuan👍

Then what we encountered in Wuyuan was the joyful rain on a spring night. When I woke up, the sound of rain falling was sometimes rapid, sometimes like distant drumbeats, sometimes as light as a whisper in my ears. There were one or two dogs barking in the distance, and a weak chirping sound... The air was filled with the faint scent of sandalwood, making me slightly intoxicated. The small building listened to the spring rain all night and couldn't bear to sleep. Unfortunately, I was so sleepy that I missed a piece of piano music. In my dream, I was just afraid that the flowers in Xiantan would fall away. A bird fell outside the window... Arriving in Wuyuan, Jiangxi at 7 o'clock last night, everything I met was warm. When I met Wuhuatang, all the anxiety was gone. I felt at home and warm. Teacher Zheng was warm, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The simple and clean Huizhou architectural style with a long history exudes everywhere. The beauty, the harmony of sincerity and nature, makes me intoxicated. ​ When a traveler comes back after missing his meal, the family members of Wuhuatang hurriedly go to the fields to pick vegetables and serve you delicious vegetables, a portion of fried bacon with green bamboo shoots (homemade), and a portion of tomato and egg soup. It’s time to eat... It’s like you’ve come home from a long way. The air conditioner has been turned on in the wing room on the second floor in advance, and the electric blanket has been turned on. If it’s slightly cold in spring outside, then there’s a lot of warmth in the attic... ​ I couldn’t bear to fall asleep and didn’t want to get up. I encountered the beautiful scenery and the stories behind the ancient buildings in Jiangnan the next morning...
