Hotels with Bars in Wurzburg

Very close to the university, this hotel near the university, the small bar in the hotel is super good, the young lady is very professional and enthusiastic, will recommend the right wine according to the preference, the environment is super invincible quiet

The GHotel and Living in Wurzburg proved to be a good choice. We booked one of the executive rooms that was large and located on the higher floor. Our view was of the city and the Marienberg Fortress. Its location is relatively near the railroad station, and it proved to be ana advantage as we did do a train trip to Rothenburg au Tauber on one of days there. However, it is away from the old center, and can be walked in about 20 minutes. This is a typical European hotel as the bathroom was basic, and the room was very modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the choices were plentiful.

Was here for a short stay. But the services are wonderful, the room are superb, all necessary things like kettle, ironing board, welcome gifts are there. Spaces to do some works, chill out and drinks coffee are good too! Best hospitality! Would definitely come again. The bus stop is just right in front of the hotel if you come from the Central Station direction. But the bus stop to go in the oposite direction is a like 300m you have to walk a bit.

Very nice hotel Spacious and clean, the bathroom is also relatively large Breakfast 19 euros per person per day, a bit expensive, food is still rich Location is OK, you can walk to major attractions, such as the Wiltsburg residence. About 15 minutes walk to the main train station

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were very good, served in a very elegant setting. We had a junior suite (Alt Wurzburg) with two balconies overlooking the town and was extremely comfortable, clean and spacious.

Typical Maritim hotel. We stayed in a Family suite which was newly renovated and in the far corner of the hotel. The room had a great view of the river and castle and was quiet, all inclusive mini-bar is also a plus which I think is only for the suites. Downside was the bathroom, blocked showerhead and broken shower rail were fixed as soon as we made the FD aware about it, black mold and fluctuating water temp could not be resolved. don't wash your hands or flush the toilet if your partner is in the shower as the water will run very hot, actually it did if if the other rooms were using the water. We were comped the two days parking to make up for this which accepted. The pool is nice but you walk though the service area to get to is which is a bit disconcerting. This also where the entrance to the car park is. A few things about truth in advertising, the hotel claims 2 restaurants and a bar, in fact is has a buffet restaurant which does a decent breakfast and very limited (as in 3 choices for mains) for dinner. Room service menu seemed more extensive although we didn't order from it not sure why the same is not offered in the 1 and only restaurant. There is no bar! Location is about a 10 min walk from the old town and I suggest you walk along the river as the other route is not the most attractive. Hotel is catered towards conference and bus groups but the prices were fair.

The hotel is in a good location. It is very close to the Bishop's Palace, the fortress and the old bridge, and it is furnished with a sense of history and artistic style. The room also has water and two bottles of wine, which is great! The only regret is that the hotel itself has its own parking lot, but because I ca n’t speak English well, I parked my car in a public parking lot, and I have to pay, if the hotel waiter can take it to the parking lot!

Well, one hostel had to be worst of my trip. I just wish it hadn't been quite SO bad. I could talk about their deceptive business practices. I could talk about the horrendous customer service. I could talk about the outrageous price. Instead I'll just say this. How on earth does a hostel only open their reception between 6pm and 8pm? You literally have two hours where you're allowed to check-in. Your train arrives at 4? Tough luck, gotta wait. Had a delay and arrived 8:30? Thanks for your money, but you ain't sleeping here. They don't even have a phone number in case any of their current guests have a problem. Lost your key or someone stole your wallet in the middle of the night? Good luck finding a bench to sleep on. They say it's because of covid, but covid exists in all of Europe. Are all the other hostels in Europe also closing at 8? Right, didn't think so. The reality is that this is because the manager is a cheapskate with zero regard for their guests.

Very conveniently located to all places of interest by walking. Hotel has a private parking garage with access from a street behind the hotel. As other Moxy hotels, the check-in is at the bar in a spacious lobby area with plenty of sitting room and the usual foosball table. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful with various recommendations of places not to miss and special restaurants nearby. We took their advice and discovered a wonderful restaurant with the oldest wine bar in Germany! Rooms are comfortable with limited space for clothes as is the case of all Moxy hotels we have visited. No big deal, we left our clothes in the luggage while enjoying a low cost of the room in a centraly located hotel. If you look for convenient, inexpensive yet good quality hotel, this is your place. We would return here for sure.

Warm and comfortable, clean and refreshing, it is a very satisfying hotel in Würzburg, Germany. Although the weather is cold, the room is very warm and dry, suitable for couples and families.
