Stepping back in time Just had a wonderful night at Kilmany Estate. Didn’t even know it was here! Built in (finished in 1910) As you enter into the past world, with old furnishings, beautiful wooden walls, staircase etc etc A few drinks in the lounge, followed by a walk in the grounds (best word i can think of) There were 10 of us, my wife and i stayed in the Fountain room, which faced East to a glorious morning sun. All rooms very well appointed with modern amenities, that don’t spoil the old world charm. Most have en suite bathrooms. Breakfast was ordered the night before, and an extensive selection was available. Breakfast was served in the dining room….PS all the rooms are huge! Couple of lounges, drawing room, library, billiard room etc etc. Wonderful weekend for a group or just a couple. We loved it and are looking forward to returning. Narele our host was delightful and obliging

We stayed in this spacious, grand homestead to celebrate a dear friend's life. We were returning after having a great 60th celebration there 5 years ago. It was perfect for a group and nothing was too much trouble for Narelle. The cooked breakfast also really hit the spot!

We stumbled across this Beautiful place when we arrived in Sale and were so excited that they had a room available. We drove up the tree lined 900m driveway and were in awe of the house in front of us. We met with Narelle the manager and she gave us a tour of the house and gave us a detailed history. We were made to feel that we were guests of the family and really enjoyed our stay. We met with the owner Daryl on a couple of occasions and he was always up for some good conversation. The House and Gardens were just beautiful, the bedrooms were huge, and the night sitting chatting in front of the fire in the grand Drawing room will be unforgettable. What an experience!
