The Williams Inn

About a month ago, I booked this inn in a small American village on Ctrip for 9.30. The payment was deducted when I checked in at around 5pm yesterday and received a $50 deposit. When I woke up this morning, I received a text message from my bank that the hotel had deducted the money again at midnight US time. I had breakfast out for US$285.38. My son went back to the hotel first and asked him why they wanted to deduct my money. I had already paid the entire room fee and the hotel said it was wrong and they refunded me. When I went back to the hotel, I asked the woman at the front desk again. She said it was not charged. I showed her the text message and she said she asked the manager. I asked her to call her and go to the room. When she called, my son answered and said it was charged. The wrong deduction was made for last night's room rate and I had been refunded by the hotel. I paid an extra 1,200 for the lowest price guarantee. Of course, I have to ask Ctrip for a refund. Ctrip said that it would take a day to find an agent to handle it. They still haven’t refunded the price difference to me. They asked me to provide proof of deduction. Isn’t the bank text message bank statement evidence? Everything has been provided. If it is not a hotel deduction, I was wrong. I didn’t know that Ctrip and the agency were so shady and charged so much money. I booked so far in advance and it was 1,200 more expensive than the price of the hotel on the day. Such a small and broken place and such a broken Inn is really not worth so much money and expensive price. There is no breakfast included in the room rate
