White Buffalo Hotel

West Yellowstone|0.27km from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel common areas were immaculate and someone was always cleaning. The rooms in the courtyard area were very big and had a lot of space for us to open 3 suitcases. The carpet should be pulled up and a floor should be laid down. This would help make the room look more modern and clean. There used to be a pool and a hot tub, but theybhave been replaced with a sitting area and outdoor fitness equipment. I appreciate the layout of this hotel as it gave me old school vibes (I've stayed in hotels with the courtyard layout in Hawaii and Key West). All in all it was a decent stay and the room served its purpose. The breakfast was outstanding it was a hot breakfast buffet served by very quick-moving and efficient ladies. The weird thing was that you only get two breakfasts included with your room. We were a family of four so I had to pay $10 per person for the other two meals. There are a few other things that would improve the rating of this hotel they don't provide a soap dish for your soap, there is no place to fill up your water bottles with cold water (my daughter was told to use the faucet in our room), they do not provide any conditioner for your hair, there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room (we literally filled up the garbage pail with ice to submerge our drinks), the workers are not very friendly and most don't speak English, there are signs all over the place telling you what NOT to do (don't fill up your coolers with ice, don't touch the coffee machine). I understand that certain things need to be communicated but the tone of the notes could have been more kind. This was a decent hotel and the price was very fair considering that most hotels in the area all seemed to be the same motel style. If you stay here l, just be sure to bring conditioner and ask for a room withba fridge.

Yellowstone Country Inn

The only option for tv was Roku and it didn’t work. There was no way to watch the news at all. I’ve been in National parks without cell service and was hoping to catch up on the news with a nice sleep. The mattress was terrible. The manager forgot I told him the tv didn’t work so after 2 hours he finally came to the room. He couldn’t fox it and they were closing soon

It belongs to the type of motel, with a total of two floors. It is relatively large and has more rooms. It is easy to check in and check out. Free parking. The room is more compact, mainly because there is no wardrobe, there is a shelf next to the room where you can wash a few clothes. Two beds of about 1.5, can accommodate 4 people. The room I lived in was on the second floor without an elevator. My suitcase is small, so there is no inconvenience. Breakfast is simple, bread, milk, coffee, tea. Fried cheese chicken dan, hot and salty oat paste. You can eat without being picky. The location is good, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it: Honglian. There is also a medium-sized supermarket. It is about 10 minutes walk from the west entrance of Yellowstone Park.

Days Inn by Wyndham West Yellowstone

It feels better than the average DAYS IN in West Yellowstone Town. There is an indoor swimming pool with a water slide in the hotel. It will be very late after a walk in the park tomorrow. There will be a traffic jam in the park. Although it is big, it is basically a car There is an animal car on the side of the road, it will stop to take pictures, and the hotel’s breakfast will be blocked. A coupon will be given. It contains a simple set meal. You need to pay your own tax. The restaurant is late. You need to wait in line to eat before you can eat breakfast until 11 o’clock. There are three good Chinese restaurants in Huangshi Town, the price and quality are about the same

Positives: Housekeeping did an excellent job. Great service by the front desk. They tried to shovel the snow and make it Un-slippery. Convenient location. Provided a great map with restaurants, shops nearby on one side, and driving distances from the hotel and the entire Yellowstone on the other side, that was great and helpful. Hot shower. Modern room (can be a bit small in terms of room size), cozy boutique hotel. Plenty of tea and coffee in the lobby. Negatives: • Not great soundproof, can still hear noise from the 2nd floor/showering upstairs and food smell next door. • Food smell could come through the walls, from next door neighbors • No elevators for second floor guests. • Parking is first come, first serve. # of rooms is more than # of available parking spaces. You will need to look for street parking if no onsite parking available. This seems like a common problem for many hotels in West Yellowstone. • No phone landline • No microwave • No public toilet in the lobby Additional Info: * Relatively reasonable price. * Grocery, gas, restaurants are all within walking distance It's a cozy boutique hotel, can be a good option when visiting Yellowstone, when you spend most time outside sightseeing and just need a room to sleep.
