My wife & I needed a place that was near Kennebunk but economical. The Beaches fit the bill.

The check-in process was easy.
There was no garbage can. The lighting was bad, only a fanlight in the bathroom and 2 small bedside lamps. It was hard to see. And there was a slight smell of smoke in the bathroom.
The decor was minimal but cute, with a nautical theme. I was grateful to find last minute, pet friendly lodging in such a central location.

Stoned young lady in a full body animal pajamas dancing in driveway blocking road.
Refused to move and thought our headlights were for her to dance in.
Had a difficult time getting to park due to her.
Did not sleep well.
Every time she went outside we had check out truck till around 1 am

Absolutely no heat in cottage. Heater was on full blast did nothing. Could feel cold air coming in from almost every seam of the place. Ice cold

A less than stellar stay. No blow-dryer, self check in, no New England Sports Network. A very uncomfortable bed, and shampoo/conditioner in condiment packets that you couldn't open without scissors. Finally multiple emails stating we had to sign a guest registry before we left which was non-existent. When I called the front desk they said it was no longer necessary. Then why include it in the emails?

Great location! A short drive to EVERYWHERE- fantastic base of operations. Super clean, and NOT dumpy like many places with ancient carpet and moldy bathrooms. Fancy ROKU tv -beyond my understanding -lol !!

Very conveniently located in Maine just north of Portsmouth, NH. Great restaurants around the area. Easy to find. Our room was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff person on site was nice and professional. We really liked how the staff reached out to you to confirm your stay and the email face precise directions for check in and check out. Overall we’d stay there again.

Room was nice & clean. Updated besides large window appears was recently broken & was temporarily covered with plexiglass. Other than that happy with the accommodations.

Nobody checks you in. Sign on door states office is open at 4 pm but check in is 3pm. Nobody ever showed up. Had to call phone number listed. When called, gentleman answering was not friendly. Never saw anybody in office for two days we were there. Only saw housekeeping on grounds in morning
