First of all property is more beautiful than what looks in images. In so many Taj Properties that I have visited, this is one of the best on the list. Coming to staff , really amazing team at Taj, specially Front Desk Manager Hari and his team, they made sure to make stay real memorable. We got a very nice villa with amazing view of lake and mountains. Even from base category rooms view is equally beautiful covering all green mountains and Islands. Infinity pool, Joggers park, indoor and outdoor activities, play area for kids, Yoga sessions makes the stay more interesting. Breakfast, in room dining , dinner served have good taste. Staff at this resort always makes you feel welcome. Hotel is Luxury at its best with Amazing professions staff everywhere around the corner. I will recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Wayanad .

The rooms were good however they lack any view. The property is spacious but the staff are not well trained nor were they courteous only the staff during your exit talks to u well. The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast such low standards of set up especially for the price charged by this premium hotel. The food was cold / the sausages, pancakes were so substandard. Was totally disappointed with the food. The amenities offered were also mediocre. The price which the property charges during weekends was so high which was totally not worth it.

It was an Last minute booking. We called the number that was given in google. He answered politely and said that the dinner will not provided as the kitchen has already been closed and only previously booked Items were being prepared. We were in the city so food was our least concern at that time. It was already past 8 when we started our trip to the 3 hills from restaurant. The road was very dark and I literally got scared. After a travel for about 20 to 30 mins (Slow driving) for us to reach there. the manager greeted us and asked o remove the slippers outside the house and took us inside the house. when u enter u can see a book rack on your left, A seating sofa next to it and a center table which had some magazines and kids games on it . To your right There was an another sofa. it was an traditional home , Welcoming you in front there was a traditional lamp. and very large courtyard in the middle and rooms are on both the sides of the courtyard once in entered this place i got a very good vibe silent and a traditional feel . We entered our room which was located at the right side last , Next to the small pond which is inside the house. The room was quite good for rate. A tv good Bed actually and straight to bed as it was a very long day. Morning that is when we actually got a good looking of the house the area was so good and window was very big , the window view was also awesome with flowers and plants it was really green. And that is when i noticed that the pond was very beautiful with some colored fishes in it . That was mesmerizing view. Its not very easy to have such treats to your eyes. We have to go a 3 to 4 steps down to reach the pond , my son enjoyed looking and fishes . then when we went out its was a big surprise. We had swings, and a play area .I enjoyed swings as i was not much into playing those outdoor games. Breakfast was ready by 8.30. Kerala special Puttu and Kadalaicurry, WIth boiled eggs and bread. It was Okay and got lemon tea , which was below okayish. it had many spots for photo lovers. We stayed there for one day. It was an good stay to End it.

Really loved the stay here. This place gives you the traditional kerala feel. Loved the people here, they were very sweet and welcoming. You also get very tasty food We stayed in the nalukettu. Staying here for the last two days made me feel relaxed. All the instagramers can come here wear their traditional kerala outfit and take a lot of beautiful photos here

I had stayed in the Mist Villa. A very lovely resort with two huge rooms with attached bathrooms. Huge beds in each room to add to the comfort. The said villa had a forest facing balcony where in the mornings and evenings we could sight the Malabar Giant squirrels. Only drawback were the disturbing movement of vehicles on the road leading to another resort cutting through the forest. The restaurant was simply great and was at a great height where we could see the beautiful mountains and the Vythiri village and above all the birds as we were almost at tree top level. Not to mention the lovely staff which included Lal, Shidha who were always smiling and helpful. Food was delicious. Worth a visit
