The hotel is strategically placed near the beach! Our Room is very neat and has all the amenities that we need! We got one with a balcony where it was so nice to do my office work while enjoying a very nice view! The staff are all awesome! We are definitely coming back!

Highlights: very nice and helpful staff, views of the beach. The rooftop pool was pretty though a little chilly being so high up. Free coffee in room. Comfy bathrobes. Pretty good selection at breakfast. Downsides: location is kind of far from anywhere you want to eat. Street vending is banned along the beach boardwalk so that makes it kind of a long walk to find cheaper food. high cost for extras like drinking water is sure way to upset guests when they’re already paying more than average for a room. The shower was shoddily put together so leaked water. The room was for 3 people yet had only 1 chair at the desk. Rules against bringing any outside food into the room. This rule initially seemed to target durian and seafood which is understandable but then expanded to exclude all food— that is just unreasonable!! Summary: for the price it didn’t seem worthwhile. I would choose to stay somewhere else maybe smaller that doesn’t make you feel so uncomfortable with extra charges and silly rules.

A host who displays 4 stars but who does not deserve them. Barely half a star, this hotel is so pitiful. The breakfast buffet is transformed into 3 miserable dishes: noodle soup, meat soup or egg...no other choice!!! The manager who has no skills answers us ”it says breakfast on the reservation not BUFFET!! Poor little employee, no training, no skills, for a 4 star establishment it's a beautiful image that she leaves. Agoda deleted our review, wrote to us to threaten us because it would kill their business. So it is the reservation sites that decide, not the customers? Demagoguery. Disappointed we decided to file a complaint and ask the police to intervene . This hotel has no place and will have to be verified and lose its stars. I asked several times to meet the owner, who was there that day, but it is so much better not to lose face in Asia that I I didn't get to see it. I don't recommend this Vung Tau RiVa hotel.

A stunning hotel in a good location. One thing to be aware of is the famous night market is no longer trading. Overall a pleasant stay with excellent service. Plenty of choices for breakfast and nothing is not too for staff. Highly recommended.

Wow! What an amazing experience. The Malibu Hotel is the best hotel that I've stayed in in Vietnam. We had a business trip there in early March 2023. Everything was exemplary and all 65 staff members agreed. I will briefly share what makes this hotel so amazing: 1) Customer Service: A huge shout out to Ms. Bella from The Malibu. She made organisation of our trip smooth and was extremely detail-orientated. Additionally, Mr. Dat ensured that our Gala dinner was a memorable experience. Both Ms. Bella and Mr. Dat were extremely transparent about budget and pricing, double-checking every expense with our team before it was processed. The best customer service that I've received in Vietnam in 7 years. 2) The food: The food is incredible and very fairly priced. I stayed in the hotel in early 2022 and they have maintained the high standard since then. Well done to the kitchen staff at The Malibu. The best I've had in Vietnam. 3) Public spaced: The Malibu has a wonderful pool & lounge area. Servers were punctual and pleasant. 4) Comfy beds: The rooms & beds fit those of a 4/5 star hotel. No issues here whatsoever. It might be nice if they had a balcony. 5) Location: Wonderful location near the major roundabout in Vung Tau. A short walk to the beach. Fantastic!

For some god sake, men and women are treated unequally? I don’t have the right to not take off my shirt in public area (swimming pool)! If you have that rule, please inform in booking email in advance! I even wore the swimsuit not normal shirt! I’m staying at B14.03 on 29/4/2023 When I talk to staff at the front desk (18:15, 29/4/2023), her attitude toward me is unacceptable!!! Is that because I’m younger than her or else? Her answer was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel! We need answer and solution, not ask for sympathy! Believe me! You never encounter any rudeness like this from any other international hotel brands (IHG, Melia, Accord,..) Many thanks! I worked as a travel agency in Vietnam with reasonable price! This is my second visit in Vias, and I am writing while on the 7th day of 10. I am truly glad that I know Ms Sarah Hein the receptionist lady from my first visit. Now most of the things I booked and communicated through her before and while on this trip. Truly helpful and make the journey more convenient.

I moved into one of the apartments here. It's amazing great pool restaurant coffee shop. Lovely View and the apartments and rooms are light and airy with twin balcony. Really quiet area with local restaurant outside. Town is less than 5 mins away. I would highly recommend this condotel

Had the opportunity to go on a business trip and stay here, great scenery and cleanliness. Friendly staff dedicated to serving. Beautiful room and extremely wonderful sea view! Located next to the sea, you can enjoy the fresh and salty air of the sea. I like the long paved road the most! On one side is the sea and on the other is a row of green coconut trees...🤩 I'm not very satisfied with the breakfast buffet, even though it's quite full of dishes. Overall, a place worth enjoying and experiencing! Will come back again if there is a chance. ☺️

- The time i got to my room was nearly 3pm. I came there slightly early (11am) since it was a 2d1n trip. Came to a big, well known resort with different facilities, I expected more from their service. First, the receptionists are not welcoming. They checked in for us and kept our passports till check out day, which I found a bit odd, especially as its pay in advance. Then they just told me to wait till the room is ready, without a welcome drink or a suggestion as to what I can do while waiting. I had lunch at the ONE AND ONLY restaurant in the resort - Mermaid Restaurant, even though on their website there are around 6 listed places to go. There were 10 staff standing at that restaurant but no one seemed to be helpful. The restaurant was completely empty, we chose the table near the sea, but one staff came and asked if we can move to a smaller table. Both the restart and cafe charged 5% service fee, but the staff are slow and not attentive (waited 20m for drinks) and took ages for us to pay by card. There wasn’t any benches on their private beach or umbrellas. The pool is just 1,4m deepest. - The location is good and bad. It is right next to the beach but you can’t get any taxi yourself. If you wanna go out, have to ask the receptionist to book for you, and the price is not by miles but by your destination point. - Room on the other hand was spacious and clean. One very good thing here is the pool guys clean the pool area all the time so it is very clean, and there was also a beach guard watching for your safety.
