Mixed feelings on our stay at Sighientu Resort. 🫤 The rooms were light & airy once inside however the hallways were dark & dreary. The bathroom really let the property down with the flimsy door that didn’t open / close correctly, the shower practically right next to the toilet which I didn’t appreciate from a hygiene perspective. 🚿 We were disappointed to not have a balcony, I did articulate this to reception but was advised they were at full capacity that night and to try again in a few days, I went back 2 day’s later and my room was changed which made a huge difference, I want to personally thank the lady on reception that facilitated this she was absolutely splendid and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. 🛌 The pool itself is probably one of the best pools I’ve visited, I’ve been to multiple hotels over the years but this is the very best! Quiet & relaxing, warm water, clean and very well maintained. 🏖️ There was another pool but this was only part of the Spa therefore we wasn’t allowed to use unless we paid for the use of the Spa which seemed a little unfair considering we’d spend such an excessive amount already on the hotel 💆🏽‍♂️ The evening entertainment was nice however it was geared solely towards Italians, we were probably the only 2 brits in the hotel. 🎶 Food wasn’t great, due to religious reasons we don’t eat Pork however a majority of the dishes contained Pork, the veg & salad assortment is what we generally ate. 🍽️ The bar was great however it wasn’t close to the pool, we had to keep walking upstairs. It might have been nice if there was a bar close to the pool. The cocktails were amazing, I highly recommend the Pina Colada & Berry Colada. 🍹 There isn’t a great deal to do in the surrounding area! If you’re looking to relax and unwind without leaving the resort then this is the hotel for you! 🏝️ The hotel provides a free buss service to Poetto beach daily, a busy beach but lush clear waters… I highly recommend. 🚌 3.5 stars for the hotel 🏨

At the restaurant of the hotel, staff excel beyond mere professionalism; they elevate dining to an art form. Their kindness is heartwarming, always ready with a beaming smile. A seamless blend of impeccable service and genuine warmth makes every meal a delightful experience.

We arrived and was greeted by Francesca. A lovley lady and always smiled every time we saw her. She made us feel at home. Room was ok. Only thing we didn't like was the communal balcony. But we made friends quickly with everyone so that's OK. We was only on bed breakfasts and for us everything was amazing. Its a shame as they close end of season they move the animation inside because Fabio and Ricardo are the best! They made our holiday and they bring everyone together. Massive asset to the this hotel and its shame they get told to turn the music down at 11pm becuase everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. Reason for that is because of the rooms above. Which I respect, so keep it outside its 29 degrees. Gym and spa Facilities are wonderful and the beach is amazing Thank you to everyone. We will return.

Although the hotel and its surroundings are beautiful. That’s where the beauty of this hotel stops ! From the unprofessional reception staff to the RUDE waiter staff in the Dining Hall ..they had no customer service and gave the impression they were doing you a favour if they brought you something.. I never once had a pleasant experience in the dining hall and although I had only booked for B&B I had no option to eat in the Dining hall of an evening due to only one other restaurant nearby. The pizza restaurant on site (which was slightly better service ) closed suddenly two days after I arrived. After starting to dread the rudeness and (to be honest) the tasteless and somewhat repetitive food on offer I decided to eat in my room As it wasn’t worth the extra 28 euros per meal. A bar was advertised in the reception area. But only saw that open once. Such a shame as the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are bright spacious and clean. (The maid was very good ) I have travelled all over the world and lived in Spain Portugal and Switzerland, I have never had a bad experience until now ! This hotel was a big let down for customer service and it wasn’t cheap. I expected a good standard at this hotel due to the lovely pictures and previous reviews, but I certainly did not get it ..

Nice hotel. Beautiful setting and the small private beach was lovely. Very clean. Decent size rooms. The only let down was the food. Buffets for lunch and dinner. And was overpriced for what you get. No vegetarian option at the pool bar. And the paninis were expensive. A cheaper option would be welcome for dinner and lunch. There was a pizza restaurant but the opening times were hit and miss. Also, there is nothing in the area. Great for down time but you would need a car to get anywhere.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Positives were that the hotel overall is lovely with lots of space, bedrooms are very big with large beds. Good choice of food and the reception staff were great. Nice pool and little beach. Negatives, the 3 female pool bar staff were very rude on multiple occasions, the pool floor needs updating and the tiling throughout is uneven and dangerous. There is nothing around the hotel. It would benefit from a gift shop on site

Had a 10night stay at the hotel with the family for the end of the summer holidays. Overall found it clean, welcoming and relaxing but a few points let it down. The good: 1. Staff were really friendly from reception to the cleaners and excellent entertainment staff with Fabio, Ricardo, Georgia, the Sara’s and the rest of the Peter Pan crew (sorry too many to name!). They worked really hard to keep us entertained from aquarobics to daily competitions, kids discos and performances!! They were like Miss Rabbit from Peppa Pig performing multiple jobs around the hotel from the ‘bazar’ gift shop to the competitions to performances, kids club and everything in between! 2. The room was clean, light and airy we were lucky to get a balcony and good shower although it was a bit dated in the decor as some others have commented 3. Sun loungers were usually available and didn’t have any problems getting these in a shaded spot round the pool. On the particular hot days (38 degrees when we went) they gave out watermelon and popsicles. 4. Plenty of parking in the overspill car park although it is seriously rutted and rocky. 5. Co-Op grocery store nearby 6. Convenient beach and pool options on the same resort 7. As Sardinia is mainly frequented by Italian tourists and the hotel was secluded it avoided the loutish, loud and uncouth class of tourists that you usually find at these places which was amazing. 8. Generally all the staff tried to help and make you feel welcome and were genuine although there were a couple of exceptions. The poor: 1. Limited food selection, only a pizzeria on-site which mainly had decent but simple pizzas. Have to be careful on opening times as they are not flexible and a couple of the staff weren’t very accommodating. 2. The beach had a lot of sea**** which washed up on the shore 3. Rooms and decor was a bit dated 4. The excursion concierge was a bit more expensive than if you booked yourself online and didn’t find that helpful. All in all had a fab time, would definitely go again. The Peter Pan staff definitely helped make it and gave it 110%

The hotel is great and safe. The animation is giving a positive and nice atmosphere thanks to talented animators, the girls and Ricardo. The rooms are spacious and always clean. The food is tasty and varied. The staff is professional and very gentle. The beach is the best and there is an other sandy beach accessible 5min away by foot. The hotel really deserves its 4 stars. One of the best in Europe so far. I recommend!!

We stayed here 5 nights in May 2023. The room was simple, functional and well kept. Nice view over terrace below. As expected for our package deal. The reception staff were friendly and efficient upon arrival. Free parking for our hire car nearby. Buffet breakfast was comprehensive, fresh and well presented. Restaurant staff also friendly and efficient to keep tables cleared and ready for the next clients. Nice, clean private beach with loungers, parasols and lifeguards on duty. Beach bar always busy but staff efficiently keeping everyone happy. There is a dinner buffet which we did not use ourselves. There is also a pizzeria with great choice of freshly made pizza. There are few alternatives nearby for eating evening meal so a hire car is essential. My wife was very happy to make use of the spa facilities. Wi-Fi available in just about all areas, even the beach! One negative, probably a matter of our personal choice, is that the buffet restaurant and pizzeria do not open until 20:00 in the evening, whereas our preference is 17:00-18:00.
