When we first arrived at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and introduced themselves and gave us some water. Very polite and professional. We did have to wait around for about 15 minutes or so just in the outside bit before we were taken inside to the check in area and could actually check in but this was not too bad but it would have been helpful if the staff could have explained why we were waiting as we weren’t quite sure what was going on and why we weren’t being taken through. However, once in to the check in area the staff were all great and explained all about the hotel and facilities and where we could find everything and seemed genuinely friendly and happy in their jobs and genuinely happy to help which was something we really noticed and appreciated about the staff at this hotel. It is an all inclusive hotel and the experience really is all inclusive and everything from the food to the activities they provide is included. The food was of excellent quality and a really great variety every evening, we enjoyed the different theme nights they had and the street food market was exceptional and such a great vibe. We really had fun that evening. The theatre shows were lovely and you get to see all of the wonderful staff from around the hotel performing at these shows which was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed rock and ria and also the live music evening out by the pool. Overall this hotel provides brilliant evening entertainment and it’s something different each night. As well as all of this, there are lots of fitness activities you can join in with I really liked the aqua fit in the outdoor pool and the yoga/ pilates classes early in the morning. They also had an indoor pool and spa. Segways to hire, and lots of other brilliant activities taking place throughout the hotel. One thing is for certain, you will never get bored at this hotel. My husband and I had a lovely couples massage which was relaxing and overall a great treatment. The weather was very hot and so we didn’t stay for the indoor pool but went straight out back to the outdoor pools. The outdoor pool is wonderful and very big lots of space for everyone and some seating areas as well as a waterfall area which was so refreshing. There are also specific kids pool areas which were shallow and undercover from the heat which was nice for my friend and her baby. The day cabanas are extra and you can book them on the app. There are only a few so try to book them as soon as you can. My husband and I and our friends both did this one day and it was well worth the money as the sun was particularly strong that day and so we had the option to close the curtains from the side that the sun was strongest. The general seating area by the pool is also fantastic as there are plenty of beds and you can usually find one either in the shade or in the sun depending on your preference. Our room was absolutely lovely, extremely clean and spacious- with a hot tub which we unfortunately

Another fantastic stay at Robinson Quinta Da Ria in Portugal. We requested an early check in as our flight had been changed to an earlier time. Arrived at 10.30am and was given breakfast and then our room key by 11am. What a great start. It was just as we remembered it from the year before. Lovely clean room which was kept clean with a daily service every day. We had a junior suite in Horta which was fantastic. Food is sublime. So much choice at every meal and the standard is unbelievable. Pool area very well maintained with plenty of sunbeds. Beach bar is amazing with mesmerising views. The highlight of the holiday again was the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They clearly enjoy their work and are so attentive. Plates are cleared quickly, water jugs replaced without being asked. Best service we've ever had. Bar staff were amazing too. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. We asked for a late checkout as our flight was in the evening andthis was granted for a €35 euro fee. Definitely 5 star customer service. We will 100% be back next year and will make this holiday an annual event. Thanks to the Robinson team for a lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful location.

This is me and my husband’s first trip to Portugal. I have to say the experience so far in this hotel is fabulous. Hotel receptionists speak really good English and are always super helpful. Food is brilliant, not huge selections but all prepared nicely and fresh. Our room is spacious and clean. Location is great as we can just walk 10 mins to get to the beach. It only takes a short ride to some nearby places such as Tavira. It is my husband’s birthday on Monday. Before we arrived, I emailed hotel to organise a little birthday celebration. Jonathan from guest relation team has been so helpful from start, he answered all my questions patiently and provided me with loads of options. Emely in reception is such a lovely young lady, she helped to take decorations in and passed all my messages on to the team. On the day when we returned to our room after a day trip we found a lovely surprise- a bottle of champagne and a lovely birthday card for my husband! Ciprian, Joao Pedro and their team from restaurant helped to set up/decorate the table beautifully, also helped to light the sparklers on the cake :), they are all our super stars as they helped to make this day memorable for both of us. Thanks you so much everyone! Definitely would recommend staying here. Fab experience!

We have recently returned from our 1 week trip to Robinson Quinta Da Ria. We have previously stayed at Robinson Noonu (would 100% recommend), so we had similar expectations. The first few days food choice felt poor especially lunch and dinner; however, towards the end of the trip we had some amazing food- not many all inclusive restaurants will do fresh tuna steaks, large pan of paella, oysters etc. and I can appreciate that catering to suit all people will be difficult and those nights I felt the choice was poor, others may have found it to be their favourite nights. The breakfast selection was fairly repetitive and I felt there could have been more vegan options such as pastries. One night a "Taste Jam" was done which allowed food stalls outside the restaurant serving food from different regions, when I first saw this I was dreading it as I have had similar elsewhere, however, as this hotel is much smaller, the choices were fewer (But again, good choices), I actually really enjoyed this night and the food being served. On several occasions I did find plates to be dirty so this needs reviewing. I also found it very odd that none of the waiters took drinks orders!? I have never been to a restaurant or hotel where you sit down for a meal and no one takes a drink order (unless you are drinking wine in the evening... after our first night we realised you had to get your drinks from the bar first before going to dinner. Coffee at breakfast was done at one of 2 coffee machines. but during lunch & dinner I felt there was a complete lack of service which significantly downgraded the experience. Drinks included in all inclusive were very limited, especially the cocktail selection, I appreciate there is always drink upgrades that you pay for, but I felt the included drinks could have been more extensive. The rooms were ok, very dated, lighting was not great and the shower had mould in. I feel like they need some TLC and updating. The pillows were however some of the comfiest pillows I've slept on. The pool area provided plenty of sun loungers,, and whilst it was busy, it didn't feel like you were packed in although at first look I thought it might. The beach at the hotel the hotel has tried to make it nice, having.a beach area with sun loungers, a bar and beanbags seating area above the actual beach, however you have to go down some steps to get to the water. This part of the beach was the worst beach I have been on. This is nothing the hotel can change, however, if you are wanting a beach holiday I would avoid this part of Portugal. We did book this holiday as a break from work to do nothing, so did not research the area well. Its about 20minute drive into Tavira town which cost about 9 euros in an uber, there isn't much to see in Tavira but was nice to walk around the town. there is also a nice walk near the hotel into another local village. if you want to do nothing, or play golf the location is fine, but there is not much else surrounding i

Echoing most positive reviews here. My wife and I had a fantastic time at Robinsons. First of all, the team were brilliant. Everyone of them genuinely looked like they were happy to be there, and that reflected on how well they all looked after the guests. The food was another standout. We both have intolerances, and the head chef each evening would take us around to tell us what we could eat (which I might add was pretty much everything!). The choice each day was plentiful and all tasted delicious. One evening, I was struggling to choose between fresh tuna steak and beef fillet! The street food event once a week was fab. We stayed in a suite with a private roof terrace. The suite was huge, and spotlessly clean (and cleaned daily). The air-con wasn't the best, but the room never felt too hot. Shower was good and massive bed comfortable. The grounds and pool area were very well kept with some beautiful plants and trees. As it's sandwiched between two golf courses, a lot of the guests were out during the day golfing (we're not golfers), so there were always plenty of sunbeds around the pool, whatever time of day you turned up. This meant the resort felt relaxing as no one had to worry about sunbed anxiety! We only experienced the entertainment around the pool. A lot takes place in the theatre, too. Some of the live acts were really good. All inclusive drinks options were good. You can buy premium drinks which we felt were reasonably priced. The resort is German owned, and the majority of guests are too. We liked this as think the quality of Robinsons wouldn't be the same otherwise. We met lots of people who are regular Robinsons guests, in resorts all over the world. We can see why. We went for a do nothing, relaxing holiday and we certainly got that. We didn't even go to the beach or outside the resort, so I can't comment on those! If you wanted to explore a bit, would recommend a car. Although speaking to another guest, you can get an Uber in to nearest town for under a tenner. As you can probably gather from the review, we would love to return to Robinsons for another holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

This was our second year at ROBINSON Quinta da Ria. We love it for the delicious food. There is always something new and a highlight. Particularly the dinner appetizer and entrée highlights e.g. duck, octopus, tuna steak, etc. We were lucky to be at resort over the Easter Holiday where we were treated to a giant blue fin tuna on Good Friday which was prepared beautifully as sashimi and a perfectly cooked tuna steak (not over done). The fitness classes were excellent with special event classes from visiting instructors (yoga, Core functional). The ROBINSON Well-Fit staff as provided excellent classes such as Pilates, yoga, functional fitness training, core training. Lorenz and Roland were excellent trainers.

I visited the resort in August 2023 as part of a party of 6 adults and 3 children and we had a fantastic stay. The resort in general is brilliant with great facilities and plenty of space. Options of drinks were excellent and the food was way beyond what I expected for the price of our holiday- absolutely fantastic. Staff were all really helpful and pleasant. The spa facilities were lovely and staff very accommodating to allow us treatments. Our husbands golfed at both courses which they thoroughly enjoyed. The only room for improvement would be that the rooms are a little tired and would benefit from some upgrading. The air conditioning in the rooms was also not very efficient, which was especially problematic for us as we have a 4 month old baby. All in all, would fully recommend.

We are group of 4 Golfers and stayed here for four nights booking through Golf Kings. What an amazing place! It is as described but better! The staff were exceptional, always smiling the food was unbelievable for an all inclusive resort such a high standard. We will use Robinsons resorts again . I want to say something negative but I can't. Thanks for a great stay.
