Wow! What a find! St Maur is beautifully decorated, immaculate condition throughout with a lovely lounge and bar area. The room was huge and gorgeous with amazing sea views and a little balcony to sit out on too, which is a great touch - with the beautiful gardens in front of you, looking out to sea having a morning coffee you could almost be abroad! The food was delicious and hot. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble to make your stay a great one. So many extra touches that really made it a 4star experience. Thankyou to the whole team at St Maur we will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend!

Return visit; was as perfect as the first. Lovely homely atmosphere while being professional, clean and comfortable. Excellent service, surroundings and quality. Our room was lovely and was serviced when we were away, amazing view of the gardens, other houses and the sea all in one. The breakfasts are lovely, friendly, helpful staff with a good range of quality food, all in all, a slice of paradise, even with the palm trees.

We have just had a lovely 4 night stay in this B&B. Our room was a good size and comfortable. There’s a good choice for breakfast, with hot breakfasts cooked to order. The garden is delightful. With good weather, the hotel offers superb views to the south.

I cannot fault our 2 night stay at St Maur , Very clean room , lovely and quiet, David cooks a lovely breakfast! , We would definitely stay here again when visiting family, One of the best plaices I have stayed in !

A lovely guest house with cosy rooms & a comfy bed, we had a super stay. David is a great host & the breakfasts were varied & delicious. I especially enjoyed the sunny terrace & tropical plants. Very well situated close to the town, coastal path & botanical gardens.

A beautiful property with lovely garden. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast generous, including a variety of fresh fruit, staff friendly. We walked to the Botanical gardens easily and Ventnor is very close, walkable too. Parking on site and outside. Would definitely recommend.

We've just had a three night stay at St Maur and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. David and his staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was spacious and spotlessly clean. Added benefit of a fridge with fresh milk in was a bonus. Excellent cooked to order breakfast. St Maur has a lovely lounge to sit in and also an honesty bar in separate room. It has lovely gardens to sit and relax in. All in all, it is a perfect place to stay! If you stay here, take a short walk from St Maur to Steep Hill Cove (no road access) an unspoilt beautiful little beach.

Beautiful B & B set in stunning gardens. A short walk to the botanical gardens and seafront/high street. We stayed for four nights in a sea view room in 2nd floor. It was clean and spacious with tea/coffee facilities and en-suite bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was ample with many choices and fresh produce used. We had a lovely time and would recommend to everyone. David and his stag were very welcoming.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well decorated with a fridge and tea/coffee. The bed was comfortable and there was a balcony for sitting on the sun. There was a good selection for breakfast including full English and poached haddock. It was cooked to perfection. The guest house itself is beautiful with stunning, well kept gardens. A big thank you to David and his staff for making us welcome.
