The team at Velassaru are incredible - so welcoming and attentive - they literally made the trip! The island and facilities are excellent - fantastic food options and overall a great place to spend time. Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed interacting with the staff - they showed such passion for their jobs and ensuring we had a marvelous stay. Already planning a trip back!

Velassaru Maldives did not disappoint. Beautiful waters and tranquil sea made swimming enjoyable. Property is kept in pristine condition. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Farahun from housekeeping was amazing. I looked forward to returning to the room after he was done organizing it. If you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience, I definitely recommend this place.

Our second stay in this resort and we will come back again. The quality of all services and food is just excellent. Responsiveness to extra needs and flexibility of stuff was really notable. Very good house reef, perfect for snorkeling. Numerous activities (gym, tennis, water sports, yoga, various trips etc), great spa. Cool bars and evening programs.

An excellent facility. We had booked a water villa: very spacious, tasteful furnishings, excellent views from the bed and from all rooms. Direct access to the sea from the villa. Very very friendly staff. Very good cuisine. Very interesting leisure activities. Friendly and attentive management team. Perfectly organized check-in and transfer from and to the airport. Our housekeeper conjured up motifs and writings made from leaves and flowers on our bed. Thank you for that. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this facility.

Nice and quiet resort

Perfect place been there about 10 times and will be back there again soon. Been to about 10 other resorts in the Maldives but we find this the best place.

Local extraordinário, mas num hotel desse nível deveriam ter profissionais, especialmente na recepção, que falassem outra língua, além do inglês. E a noite poderiam oferecer mais entretenimento aos hóspedes.
