This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The service is excellent, the rooms are spacious, and they even provide complimentary iced Coke. We had a very comfortable stay; it truly lives up to its five-star reputation. The location is also great, with many shopping malls nearby and several well-known restaurants inside. We loved it and highly recommend it!

Following up on my previous review, the hotel had a high occupancy rate but was incredibly quiet. It seemed to attract mostly business travelers, so there weren't many families with kids and seniors like ours. As such, the hotel doesn't have many children's facilities. If you're an adult who enjoys peace and quiet, I highly recommend it!

This is a must-stay hotel whenever I'm in Shanghai. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the location is super convenient for getting around. It's only one stop away from the Exhibition Center, which is incredibly handy, and there are multiple shopping centers nearby.

On July 12, 2026, my high-speed train from Shanghai to Beijing was canceled due to Typhoon Bavi. My daughter and I only found out about the cancellation after arriving at the station. We quickly headed to the hotel to check in, but it was around 9 AM and there were no available rooms yet. Joy, one of the staff members, greeted us warmly and kindly arranged for a late check-out the next day, as well as a place for my daughter to attend her online classes. It was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming; we truly felt at home.

1️⃣ The five-star hotel lobby had no air conditioning, it was sweltering everywhere. 2️⃣ Our room wasn't cleaned for three days and two nights. No turndown service, no refilled toilet paper, no trash emptied, and no complimentary drinking water replenished. I called the front desk five times and no one picked up. I had to go downstairs myself to get a comb and slippers. 3️⃣ The staff seemed dazed; whenever I asked something, their response was always, 'I'll have to go ask about that.' 4️⃣ When we first arrived, we were told to wait an hour because the room wasn't ready yet, which was very abrupt. We ended up getting moved from an executive room on the 11th floor to a scenic room on the 5th floor. 5️⃣ I specifically requested that my takeaway breakfast include drinking water, but it wasn't there. I also thought the fruit would be pre-cut, but they just gave me an unwashed apple. Could they not be a bit more considerate of their guests? I can understand outdated facilities, but the poor service and hardware are unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel. Min Jiang restaurant was delicious and the service there was excellent, much better than the one in Ningbo.

I brought my child to Shanghai for a comic con and stumbled upon the Cordis Shanghai Hongqiao. The stay was absolutely fantastic, and all the staff members were incredibly nice. Special shoutout to JOY – she was so gentle, kind, and enthusiastic with her service; simply amazing! Next time I'm in Shanghai, the Cordis will be my top choice. It's really close to the high-speed train station, which makes travel a breeze.

Clean and hygienic, the environment is great, and it's excellent value for money. The room is very spacious, and the location is fantastic — right downstairs is Hongqiao Xintiandi with plenty of food options. The staff are also very friendly. I really like it.

This is probably the closest luxury hotel to Hongqiao High-Speed Rail Station, and it's excellent. The room is clean, the bedding is great, and I had a very comfortable stay!

Great location with plenty of food and drink options nearby, and it's convenient to get to Hongqiao Airport and high-speed train station without getting wet. The hygiene is up to standard, and the breakfast is plentiful, but there's no sauna. It would be nice to have welcome fruit upon check-in and disposable bathtub liners available. Also, the turn-down service could be a bit more thorough – the curtains always have a gap, and the bookmark was wrinkled. Keep up the good work!

Honestly, this was a disappointing stay. The security team was incredibly rude and unreasonable about parking, which led to an argument. The room had a lot of mosquitoes, and the power outlets were so old that the mosquito repellent wouldn't plug in. And sigh, the front desk service was just… indescribable. The only good thing was the customer service center, their phone manner was excellent.

Staying here again after two months, I was still pleasantly surprised! This time, the room had a new TV and remote control. The screen is larger, has higher resolution, and can even swivel and extend. The TV channels are quite international, with almost half (around 30) being international or foreign language channels. The remote control is more comprehensive and straightforward. However, I noticed that the power outlet on the right side of the bed wasn't working, so I couldn't charge my devices.

I booked the Cordis Hotel because I needed to pick someone up from Hongqiao Airport and then depart from Hongqiao High-Speed Railway the next day. Everything went smoothly. The front desk upgraded me to a deluxe room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
