What a disappointment. We are still here but felt compelled to report on our stay so far because apparently no one in management seems to care. We were attracted to this resort because of its family friendly reputation and the general standard of customer service at other Four seasons. In reality the property is dated, much in need of renovation (e.g., rooms are small and not “ocean front as advertised; there are multiple pools but except the most recently built one, the pools are chipped and broken). But the biggest issue is the (lack of) customer service. No one seems to care that we can’t get a reservation at dinner, suggesting it’s our fault we didn’t make reservations in advance or suggesting we need to go off site. (It doesn’t seem to matter than the concierge routinely promised to call you back after request for reservations were made, but doesn’t. The app? Doesn’t work. Try to message them through their app for dinner reservations is basically unusable because it takes 40 min for a simple response…if you get one. Today our kids are unable to sleep because the blazing “entertainment” being played late into night (heard through closed windows, blinds and close wooden shutters). The management response to the noise? “I really can’t help as it’s entertainment, but I’ll call you back when I get in touch with them.” Asked about a change to a quieter room, managers response was “sorry I can’t help you”. No manager ever called back. I can understand the appeal of this resort but sadly the reality doesn’t match it.
