Some must-try experiences: - Get a drink at the Promenade at Sunset - Try the dal dhungar, Banjara Murg, and the Janglee Ghost - Take a walk around the hotel site across multiple lake viewing points, the Bada Mahal, etc - Get dinner at Chandni, their open restaurant with Rajasthani folk music and dance

The best hotel I have ever been to in my entire life. The hospitality is unmatched, and it’s a truly ethereal alluring experience as you row through lake Pichhola and Fatayprakash. Them not taking charges for the simplest of things and the customised shirt was an amazing gesture. Best hotel in the world.

Entire Stay was wonderful, was there with family and was there to celebrate my daughters first birthday everything was well looked after. Specials thanks to MAHIP and chef Arif for all the arrangements. LOOKING FORWARD TO COME BACK TO HOTEL. WONDERFUL STAY.

Me and my wife visited this property for an extensive 5 nights stay in June this year while on our trip to Udaipur.We had visited this property for dining and a showround few months before,but it was our first stay here.We were quite excited and was looking forward to it.I had a complimentary room night voucher from oberoi one which I used for this stay to cover one night and for the next 4 nights also I got a decent rate from oberoi at 22k per night plus 3rd night being complimentary. With Udaivilas being rated as the 'Best In The World' and considering their rates of base category rooms touching 1 lakh plus per day,in peak season,we were fortunate enough to enjoy the stay with such low prices.It was a sheer value for money.I had mailed Mr Mahajan,their gm in advance, informing about our arrival and some of our preferences and requests that we had regarding this booking.He replied promptly,and to our delight he agreed to all of our requests which made the overall stay more easy breezy for us.As we were travelling extensively,and required laundry assistance,he also included complimentary laundry service in our stay for our convenience.We had booked a garden room,ie their base category room.I had requested him to upgrade the room using my oberoi one vouchers if possible.To our surprise,he didn't even use the vouchers and upgraded the room 5 levels to their semi private pool room which had a mesmerizing lake view as well.He also promised us to upgrade to a suite if one was available during our stay(which unfortunately never happened as all the suites were sold out). We were picked up from Bansi Ghat(Fatehprakash palace)by the oberoi boat and headed straight to Udaivilas jetty.There,a fine gentleman from front office was waiting to receive us and guided us to the main porch.We got their traditional Oberoi style welcome,with showers of rose petals and a traditional aarti,followed by welcome drinks.Ms Deepali,their front office manager came to meet us and then we were directly headed to the room where check in formalities were completed.The room was nicely decorated with ballons and happy anniversary decorations (it was our engagement anniversary)and also a happy anniversary cake was present.There were a bunch of welcome goodies(snacks,fruits etc)and a personal welcome letter from the gm himself.Shortly after,we got a call from Mr Mahajan who wished us a pleasant stay and also greeted us for the special occasion.The room was very spacious,almost 600 sq ft and looked very luxurious. The Semi Private Pool-The most highlighting feature of the room.From our room,a door opens to a small patio area with 2 pool chairs and then the pool.It is a large pool which goes across 7 to 8 rooms(pool is shared between all the guests)but due to the large area it covers,even if guests from all the rooms went to swim at once,still one can swim in privacy acorss ones pool area as the pool stretches a vast distance.From the pool,the city palace and a part of the lake is

We had a few frustrations during the booking process, but once we arrived at the hotel, these were long forgotten. The hotel is perhaps the most beautiful I have ever stayed in - everything was absolutely immaculate. The setting, the grounds, the buildings - everything is stunning. We had originally booked a room overlooking the main pool, but before arrival, we paid for an upgrade to a room with semi-private pool. I'm really glad we made this upgrade, because (for me) the rooms by the semi-private pool are the best located - there's a small terrace area, then the shared pool, then the hotel grounds, then a view of the lake and Udaipur beyond - absolutely spectacular. I think there is another row of rooms with semi-private pool which don't overlook the city, which I think I would've liked less. The room itself was large, with a seating area forming part of the room, and a luxurious bathroom. We had all meals at the hotel (Suryamahal and Chandni), and they were always delicious. We took a sunset boat ride around the lake, as well as a boat taxi to Udaipur - all fantastic. We did yoga and meditation, which we really enjoyed. Every team member we came across gave us a wonderful welcome - whether front desk, at the boats, in the restaurant, at the spa/yoga. Everyone was a credit to the hotel. Special mention to Nikhil, Monalisha and Prachi from housekeeping who took care of us so well. We really appreciated the gifts :) I could not recommend the whole experience more - especially in a room with semi-private pool.

I have taken the stay with my family and it was very a very wonderful and comfortable stay,thier staff is very polite and always there for you to assist and escort you.Very nice property lost of peococks and they will walk around you...........

In a country that already is known for the best service in the world, this resort is the cream of the crop. Impeccable personal attention from top to bottom. You will be blown away. My visit during the low-season (due to seasonal high heat) was an outstanding value, as an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend!
