Hotel Bardo - Adults Only

The last mile to the property is unpaved, and when it rains… We didn’t know we have breakfast included until the checkout date! And I asked when we checked in, is any food included? The answer was no.

great hotel with a plunge pool that we could not use as it is cold in December. Hotel has dark tone and wish there would be more light in the room. bardo is away from the city center. We rented a car so it was convenient for us to move around as taxis get expensive.

I came here with my girlfriend for my birthday from October 30 - November 5. This property was good overall. Not a lot of people so it is Very quite. The staff is amazing & so helpful & they will make sure you enjoy your stay not just on the resort but in tulum in general by suggesting & help planning amazing excursions for your trip. PROS: food on the resort is good. ( should still eat outside the resort) Staff is very helpful & attentive Main pool is beautiful & great to swim in Rooms are nice for you & your partner (7/10) in my opinion Bikes / scooters to rent on resort CONS: Had to switch rooms due to bugs.( i get that we’re in the jungle & it’s impossible to prevent all the bugs from entering your room but it got a bit excessive. Once they started crawling on the bed & waking us up out our sleep we had to ask to a room change.) once we got a new room we never had that issue for the rest of the trip. Room change was also free of charge. You can NOT flush your toilet paper after you use it. Must dispose of it in the garbage. They do change it daily / on demand No atm on the resort. A taxi to the nearest atm from bardo will cost about $30.00 / $40.00 Pools in your villa look bigger in pictures than in person. Sectional in your villa looks nice but isn’t the comfiest. Also very low to the ground Overall my girlfriend & I really enjoyed our stay for the 6 nights we were here. We would recommend a stay here!

It’s ả really nice hotel with a great architecture and with amazing room and service. I would recommend staying here. It’s better if you check in directly they might save you some money. Only thing they do not have all inclusive other wise it’s a good place to stay.

It’s far from the beach side , and during the night you can hear the music on the Main Street

Our stay was an absolutely amazing experience ! This is a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful escape! The restaurant service and food was A ! The spa was great! The hotel is located minutes away from shopping and other dining options if you want to get out during the day! I would highly recommend staying here.

There is not enough space allowed here for me to write a proper review about my stay at the Hotel Bardo. This hotel is the epitome of a charade. Stay here if you want to live in a fantasy world for a few days and have money to burn. They lure you in and try to make it so you have no desire to go anywhere else. What you get is pretentious at best, but it doesn't have what it takes to be that high of value or clout they are aiming for or advertise. There are some redeeming qualities about the place but I would never stay here again, nor can I recommend it. Be sure you read all of the google reviews before deciding to stay here.

the staff was amazing, Fernando went above and beyond with helping any questions we had. valet parking was aways on point. the security made use feel safe. No issues at all. The entire staff made sure we felt welcomed and any questions we had was answered. looking forward to rebooking with them in the near future.

We really enjoyed the place! The grounds were stunning and the ambiance was great! The staff was really nice and accommodating. Shiomara and the team Mario and Ricardo were exceptionally nice.Thank you to all!
