In the complex apartment vote 7/10:wide,complete of everything, balcony, releasantly clean ; negative sides shower in bath, no air conditioning, mattress bed sofa, BAND THE MOQUETTE!! The hotel has a bell and a bell pool of water, and it is too hot, but the boys have enjoyed a half hour. Inflexible on check-in saying the room would be ready at 17:00, after a variety of hurry and laughs to take you around by them, carefully not to get the chief in the next office, They continued to postpone the allocation of the room .. and finally hand keys at 17.30. Check out is at morning .... Furthermore, I didn't understand the room number of the apartments, instead of helping me by writing them or by saying a number at once, she was shocked to continue to repeat the numbers in full in French. In addition to the fact that when I spoke to her in English to complain about the late room, they did not understand and started to answer me in this language.I'm sorry, but as a client I didn't like it at all, total lack of friendliness and professionalism.

The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Tour Train Station. When I made a reservation, I thought it was a hotel similar to IBIS. After entering the room, I found a surprise. The room was warmly decorated. Although the decorations were not high-end, they were carefully designed to make people feel comfortable. This hotel is a great choice for Tours and is worth recommending.

I am a loyal customers of the Hilton brand and this hotel has disappointed me a lot ! I arrived late in the room and all I needed was a hot shower and a good night sleep. I run the water and can’t get it to warm up. I call the front desk who send an intern to check if the water does warm up (as if I did not know how to turn on the water) she is waking in the bathroom with her shoes, splashing water all over the place, waking in the water with her shoes, confirm that it’s not hot and leaves. 30min later I call the front desk to get an update. “You have to wait”. An hour later I call the front desk again because nobody is keeping updated, and they say: “the maintenance guy is gone for a while now, he fixed it”. In addition of not keeping me updated, they assumed it worked without checking with me who reported the problem. Then they continue with, “then you have to wait”. They did not offer to change room, they did not offer to have me shower in another room that could be cleaned the next day so we did not have to change room. And not talking about leaving me in my dirty bathroom, because waking with shoes in water where I am supposed to be bare foot is hygienic to them!! I had to go to bed with my day of plane/train dirtiness. I am not mad that something went wrong, I am mad at it was handled ! Very poorly ! The next day and for the next 3 days asked to talk to the manager to share my feedback with her. She simply ignored all my requests. The day front desk lady was so apologetic, but the manager could not care less! And of course no gesture whatsoever was offered. Honestly stay away because when management is that bad, everything is bound to be bad in this hotel.

The hotel is in a yard. The environment is very good. The location is relatively good. A taxi is required anywhere in Tours. The other is that the restaurant always has flies to fly, both inside and outside. Although foreigners don't care, I can't accept it. !
Mercure Tours Nord offers you spacious rooms and six versatile, fully equipped meeting rooms in a handsome building. With a focus on relaxation, our hotel in Tours invites you to make the most of the heated swimming pool and the sunny terrace, where you can enjoy the quintessential Touraine dishes of our restaurant. I am lucky that my company is moving away from the Tours Nord area. It means that I do not have to stay in this Mercure anymore. Let me be clear: the staff members are very nice and that is the reason I still give 3 points. However, this is the only Mercure where I would never get an upgrad as a platinum or now gold member. They are always full. Sometimes I find it hard to believe given the size - and the fact that in CDG I have the upgrade every time. The standard rooms are of good standard mercure quality but in regards to amenities it is really below any kind of standard: you have a shower gel from a large bottle (that was unfortunately empty) and the same for the soap. There is nothing else. You get coffee powder and a couple of tea bags as well as a half liter of water. Maybe I am spoiled after our holidays in Asia but I am seriously considering to quit the Accor Live Limitless program and try my luck somewhere else. For two nights for business it is ok and again, lovely staff. Just not a place that makes you feel welcome. I am looking forward to seeing the folks at the Mercure Tours Sud again (should I remain with ALL...).

Excellent
Really liked the upscale feel of this hotel. Room was nice and bed very comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Staff friendly. Nice breakfast. Parking is in an underground lot across the street. Easy walk to an extensive old town. Would have given 5 stars but our room was too warm. Staff set it cooler on our individual thermostat but it never cooled down. Not sure if it was broken or we just didn’t have it figured out
This is a lovely hotel, with a very personal and tasteful decoration, situated in an old building in the city centre of Tours - so no elevators and loads of historical character. Beds and linen are very clean and crisp. Water cooker and tea in the room. Breakfast is very good as well, served in vintage china. The owners are sweethearts.
JJoël ADELINEI put 3/5 because I couldn't enjoy the benefit.
Negotiation with the hotel is impossible to delay the reservation of a night (even paying a surcharge) because I took the unchanged price option.
Sorry, since the hotel is far from being filled at that date.
There is much to like about this lovely relaxing hotel. The pity was we had only one night here on our route from Marbella to Calais and it was much to our regret that we could not stay here longer. It's right in the centre of Tours, but down a quiet residential street. We hit town right at evening rush hour and traffic was tricky, but Tours is manageable size-wise. it has off-street parking for maybe eight cars, we found a spot, luckily. I'm not sure how they manage other guests. The welcome was friendly and efficient and we loved our room. it was big, spacious, comfortable and spotless. Everything you want to see in Tours is within walking distance too, or most at least and this neighbourhood is residential with lots of small businesses including restaurants. The Loire is 5 minutes away and a strret awash with restaurants is the same diatance. the Cathedral is maybe ten minutes or even less and the main thoroughfare is very near. Tours was bombed badly in the war so many of the streets and buildings in the centre were rebuilt post-war. I like Best Western-branded hotels. You know what you're going to get and they live up to their promise and exceed it on many visits I make. And that's more than fair. This hotel, an old Abbey - you wouldn't know apart from the odd hint - exceeded it.
This is a stunning hotel. We had reserved a parking place - this is underground and very secure at a cost of £22 per night. On arrival, reception staff were amazing - super friendly and lovely - although it was only midday, our room was available already! Large room with huge bed, good shower room and separate toilet - could not have been more comfortable. Staff were so helpful, showing us where to go on a map - restaurants, shopping, cultural sights etc. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant room - a help-yourself buffet - good croissants and other pastries, though sparse on hot offerings - just some not great looking scrambled eggs and some bacon. However, the cold selection was plentiful. The spa is also a plus - 5pm seemed a good time to use the pool and steam room - only a few people there when I went down - very therapeutic after a buy day sight-seeing. All in all, a fantastic stay - I would highly recommend and would certainly stay here again myself.
GGuest UserIt is very close to the Tour Railway Station. It is convenient to go anywhere. It is necessary to note that they are not open 24 hours a day. It is best to go early if you are staying. Everything else is ok, living is still comfortable.
钱钱It is very bad for my colleague to book. The bad reason is that I can't swipe my credit card. It is not only a secured credit card, but also my colleague's two credit cards are not successful in the hotel front desk. In the end, I can only find Chinese restaurants to change euros. Cash, very disgusting is that the hotel also questioned the authenticity of the coins. They did not admit that there was a problem with their POS machines. They were not only having problems with the POS machine, but even the deduction system had problems. Ctrip also helped me to pay the hotel. Also failed. So the next time you travel, you will never stay in this hotel again.
QQIThe hotel is located in the main train station square of Tours, but the car can not be opened to the hotel entrance, because the area is forbidden to travel, so it is necessary to stop at the nearby street to charge the location, to stop the underground garage opposite the hotel, but how to find this The garage is sure to take some time. The room is small but comfortable, the breakfast variety is quite good and the quality is good.
HHAIYINGThe rooms are pretty good, average, but the rich breakfast is well worth it overall, and the front desk is friendly, not far from the train station, just a few minutes walk away.
LLisa馨As a nostalgic kid who has gone back to studying in Tours for ten years, it must be said that this apartment has all the conveniences. It only takes 3 minutes to catch the train and it is very convenient to go to the castle and the city center. There is a mini kitchen in the apartment-style, where you can make your own tea, buy alcohol and make some convenient fast food. I booked the cheapest room type because I was traveling alone, but the room for me was facing the church bell tower, and the bed was super large and comfortable. It may not be as big as a big hotel room, but a typical French residence is like this. The sanitation is very good, but the catch is that there is no daily room cleaning.
