I am a very regular client of the B&B channel and this is not the first time I stay at the B&B of Tourcoing but this time, very disappointing: - From the opening of the room, a very unpleasant smell is felt. It comes from the bathroom and makes it think of urine that would have macerated several hours in the heat. - in the shower, the presence of very visible moisture in an angle. - The television does not respond to the telecommand, I look closely at it to see that the television power cable is completely unconnected and rolled behind the screen and that the antenna cable is also unconnected. Since when is the customer to make the connections ? By reading a view of a person who stayed here 3 weeks ago, I check the bed closer: - the sense of keeping the plate that serves as a pad are not even swim, The hotel is very affordable, but the maintenance and hygiene must not be dependent on the price.

We spent a night in transit in this hotel at a ten-minute walk from the station. The prices are very low, so it is clear that you do not expect high performances but the minimum is: a functional bathroom in the room, a comfortable bed, clean room. The only bemol is noise because half of the rooms are located on the edge of a very frequent boulevard.

We have no power in the bathroom, but we were surprised for a recent hotel and the current needs... No windows so difficult to air! Heating closed at 24*! The Quarter may be an advantage in terms of mobility but not very well attended, of which we come to the point of the Parking, the hotel does not have one, there are outdoor places, but the number of broken windows will pass you the desire to try the experience. Great first impressions: plentiful free parking next to a kind of leisure complex with green space to walk about. Efficient, friendly check in and we really liked everything about the downstairs area. Spacious seating areas with comfy chairs as well as bar/cafe area where good value breakfast was available. More seating in the garden where Ibrahim made the most delicious pizzas. We sat here both evenings and it was a really nice atmosphere. The metro station is an easy 10 minute walk and 10 more minutes into the town centre. Unfortunately upstairs is a different story. The bedrooms are so small that 2 adults struggle to walk around at the same time and it is difficult to do anything in the bathroom unless you open the door. Basic furnishing - double bed with 2 tiny pillows, TV, coat hangers. One towel is provided, others are charged at €2 each. But the worst is that it is so claustrophobic due to the small window giving little light or air. On a warm night we found it very uncomfortable and woke frequently as it was so hot. I would give downstairs 4 but the bedrooms 2 so overall 3.
