Hotel la Siesta

We returned last night from this beautiful place, the hotel stands on a small hill in the middle of the greenery, about 1km away from the sea. Although we had arrived before check-in, the managers still gave us the keys to the room. The quite large room, a nice bathroom and a balcony overlooking the sea, with all the comforts, TV air conditioning and a safe completed the furnishings. The hotel is also a restaurant, and despite having only breakfast we used this service ,and never quicker was it more apt. First courses based on fish, second courses also, we also wanted to taste the Vastese soup, a real delicacy, congratulations to the chef. They also welcomed our little dog, and it's not recently. We want to thank the family who manage the hotel, we will definitely return to the Siesta for the welcome you offer your customers. I forgot the breakfast.. there were also desserts homemade!!!!

Stayed for work I found the structure really welcoming with super helpful and prepared staff. The dishes made with love and passion by the cook of alessandro made me feel at home. Not least the welcome received from Mr. Pardi, very professional and prepared, who was able to advise me in a great way both on the dishes and on the places to visit in your free time.

I appreciate the commitment of people in carrying out their business, and here all the staff were busy. My experience in this structure can be summarized as follows space room 10, kitchen 8, the bathroom had limescale residue in the toilet, so I hypothesize, reception 7, dinner evening bad luck as my pasta was without salt and without taste, the grilled sword was half cooked and good and half cold and raw, you know when you heat something in the microwave? Ditto for the grilled vegetables, some cold from the fridge and some lukewarm, so my dinner basically remained on the plates, but I repeat that it is only my dinner and not that of the other customers, therefore an unfortunate coincidence, also considering the extremely positive comments from other more than satisfied customers. Breakfast at 07.00 here too bad luck persecutes me because the staff is not there and they prepared several crossants and slices of cake the night before with cellophane. Ah, I also forgot a bottle of sparkling water and a still one. The room cost 62.00, as a budget it fully deserves the sufficiency. It will be better next time.

The experience was positive, the stay was pleasant, albeit short. The hotel seems quite new (or recently renovated), the room was large, comfortable, complete with air conditioning, a large bathroom and a nice balcony on which there was also a small drying rack, very useful if you come back from the sea and you want to rinse your swimsuits. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the cakes which seemed to be homemade. Furthermore, the hotel has a large courtyard where it is possible to park at no extra cost. However, a few small details could have further improved the experience: for example, the lift was not in service (but being on the first floor it was not a big inconvenience) and we also found the mattresses not too comfortable, because you felt the springs too much and being accustomed to memory we had a bit of a struggle to adapt. In conclusion it was still a good stay and I would recommend it.

Hotel a stone's throw from the sea, convenient to the coast. Spacious and clean rooms. Ours was equipped with a very comfortable balcony from which you could see the sea. Good breakfast, we will be back.
