Asakusa Temple just across the street in 5mins walks,7-10mins walk can reach Ginza line and Asakusa line,room just nice can open three 28inch luggage…The reception View is perfect can see the Tokyo sky tree tower…

I stayed 2days and 1night in this hotel, the location is super nice really close to station and sensoji temple and the view was amazing. The room are clean but there are some dust every corner of the room. Also furnitures are old like the table is not stable etc. but im happy there are a coffee machine in the room. And limited choice for the breakfast.

5-10 mins walk from JR station and airport sky-access. Very conveniently located and good amenities. Relatively bigger room compared to other tokyo hotels.

Great location. I also like the breakfast which has "cook to order" main dish. The service at the breakfast place is also very good.

Very clean, great location, nice staff, and the room side is acceptable. The view at the lobby on 13th floor is super nice, could see senso ji and Tokyo sky tree. It’s only several minutes away from metro station and senso ji. Around it, there are many restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

I’ve stayed at a few Gate Hotels by Hulic and I really enjoy them. Especially in Kyoto. This one has fewer amenities. I have to say I was disappointed by my particular room which was facing a water storage tank of the adjacent building, room 515. The carpeting had stains and was faded, the bedding, especially pillows and nightwear, reeked. After many reuses, washing will no longer remove the strong odor. I did request a new pillow which they happily provided. Of note, I previously stayed at this hotel and the odor was not this strong The room has great amenities such as a Nespresso machine, fridge, etc. The 13th floor lobby has a good view Only out done by the rooftop deck. There is a restaurant and bar. Location is terrific if you are visiting the famous shrines or shopping area. Super close to the ASAKUSA subway.

Great stay with our two kids (13 and 9). Comfortable room, spacious by Tokyo standards. Fantastic breakfast and very kind and attentive staff. Highly recommend.

My recent stay at THE GATE HOTEL ASAKUSA was a blend of adventurous exploration and varied service. While the hotel offered a unique experience, it had its ups and downs that left me with mixed feelings. Arriving at THE GATE HOTEL ASAKUSA from the subway proved to be quite a challenge, as the distance and limited transportation options made it difficult to access, especially with luggage in tow. However, once I finally reached the hotel, the awe-inspiring rooftop view and surroundings compensated for the arduous journey. The staff at THE GATE HOTEL ASAKUSA were a mixed bag. Some were courteous and friendly, making me feel welcomed, while others seemed disinterested and impolite, dampening the overall experience. The front desk personnel were efficient, but their warmness varied from one individual to another.

Great location - only steps from the metro station. Nice lobby and restaurant on the 13th floor with the best breakfast in town. Although the room seemed small to me, the size is quite average for Tokyo. The beds and linens were very comfortable as were the pyjamas. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

The location is very good that attractions and train station are within walking distance. Plenty choice of food nearby. and supermarket is just next to the hotel We enjoy our stay
