This Historic Inn nestled in the Northeast Georgia Mountains houses one of the Best in Fine Dining Restaurants one could hope to experience. Excellent dishes paired with sides to enhance the pallet are comparable to any big city restaurant. Beautiful ambiance, Excellent service and a must go to for anyone visiting the area! Hats off to Glen Ella for exceeding expectations!

My husband and I took a spur-of-the moment overnight trip just to get out of Atlanta, do a little hiking, and get some fresh air. We booked a queen size room facing the back of the property. The room was cutely decorated and was immaculate. I was delighted to find there was no television in the room itself which made it all the more easier to disconnect and simply enjoy the peace and quiet. (Although there is a television available in Garden Cottage open to guests at all times should anyone want to see tv.) Staff were very kind and professional. We had an excellent dining experience in the restaurant on Saturday night, and our breakfast on Sunday morning before checking out was equally outstanding. Check-in/check-out was a breeze. This was our first stay here, and hopefully not our last. We loved it.

Every day is Valentines Day. We just got back from a delightful mountain weekend getaway at Glen-Ella Springs Inn. They have an excellent restaurant that alone is worth the trip. The rooms are comfortable and super clean. They just got fiber and now have the best internet of any hotel we've stayed at. This was our first visit in cold weather, and we wondered if the room might be cold and drafty. We were toasty warm. Some rooms even have a fireplace. We can't recommend this place highly enough.

This is a lovely inn in a beautiful setting. The rooms are well-appointed and the bed and sheets are some of the most comfortable that I've slept on. I'm always a little afraid that the rooms at a Bed and Breakfast will be on the tacky side (dried flowers, country decor, etc), but this inn is lovely. The staff is kind, professional, and eager to please. The pool area is nicer than what the pictures show. We have stayed in other inns in the NE Georgia and North Carolina mountains that are more expensive, but we felt like the Glen-Ella came close to those experiences at a lower cost. We stayed three nights and our stay was refreshing and lovely. The wi-fi is weak, but it is nice to disconnect. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Be sure to eat on the terrace by the garden. We will go back.

This place was so fantastic that I plan on making another trip during the summer! First, I went during fall and I was able to see the color change for the leaves and the area is just so beautiful! This inn is in an old antique building that has been preserved over the years and even has actual keys for your door! It is very beautiful, well preserved, comfortable, and minimize electronic distractions (No TV in the room). The restaurant is fantastic and classy, with very delicious food! I would have to say the breakfast was the best part! The inn is near a ton of places to do things: Museums, horse rides, zip lining, parks, etc. The best part of this place is the service! The inn owners and the employees are SO NICE. I had a few bad luck things happen on my trip, and they were right there making sure to help me cancel plans and get refunds and make sure that I was happy. It was as if I had a bad stay, so did they. They were always in tune and made sure that I had everything I need. Even some late night cake and ice cream! This place is really peaceful and quiet and it is small with about 16 rooms I believe. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely, non-chain place to stay that really feels like home, this is the one! If you sign up for like champagne and the strawberries and the cheese, it is all delicious and worth it! I plan on going during the summer to see their garden bloom and take advantage of the pool! Also side note, they do have a common area with a tv and a few drinks if you need it. Thank you all so much!!!!!

Nice room and view out the back is serene and beautiful. Back porch w chairs is perfect for a good book and beverage. Easy to book, reasonable rates and a nice staff. I spent Monday night so didn’t dine here as dining room is closed Monday night. I have eaten here before and the food is excellent.

Such a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing stay. I think they had new mattresses - such a good night sleep. Every staff member we encountered was so helpful. Room was ready when promised and found ice bucket filled and complimentary cookies!

Glen Ella has great accommodations, excellent food, friendly staff and attentive inn keepers in a beautiful natural setting. We really enjoyed our recent stay and there are many interesting places to visit in North Georgia.

We wanted to get away for Thanksgiving this year and because of the reviews of this place we decided to stay the week. Unfortunately, the reviews do not mention as to how non private the rooms are, you can hear from upstairs to left to right clear conversations. The heat is very outdated it comes on very often and it either gets too hot or too cold. We turned it off and plugged a portable heater available in the room. The falls package is over priced, you are better to explore in your own as you will pay $160 for a map, a backpack, two sticks and a packed sandwich lunch. We found a lot more on our own using Google maps. The facility is well maintained and the staff is great. The food although good, is not to the standard of the prices. Breakfast is good and the Thanksgiving meal was well worth the $65 price tag for the buffet, it was very good. Also, they need to reserve parking for the paying guess there was an event where caused us to park very far away. Additionally, it seems that this place has catered to the older crowd as it seems we were the youngest couple there (we are in our 50’s) Overall, it was a good facility but there is no privacy in the rooms as the food is overpriced. We will definitely return to the area, but not to this place.
