Akhil Beach Resort

We stayed in a Heritage cottage. I would highly recommend, it was so Beautiful and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave, in fact we initially booked 2 nights but stayed for 7 nights. We will certainly return. The grounds and pool were so well kept, just a joy to be there. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. A special thank you to ***oj, the ***ager and Joy ***ager of the restaurant. Food was excellent. I also had a massage there, it was so wonderful, very relaxing. Thank you everyone x

We have been visit at Akhil beach resort for 2 days in May 2023 and I should comment it was the best and memorable experience in our lives.From the time we reached the resort till we left the staff made us feel so special and welcoming. The place is serene, beautiful and has a very nice peacefull ambience.One who visits will definitely plan a visit again.My kids had a great time in swimming pool There was beach also near by it is about 10 minutes walkable. The food served was also homely and served according to our taste. Overall it was a wonderful holiday for our Family.....

I stayed at Akhil Beach Resort for 12 days from the 12th January this year I did ask for discount as I was staying for a long period of time of which they did agree Firstly I was totally surprised that they needed full payment on day one I have never experienced this on booking com ever I therefore advised I would pay a deposit only and settle when I depart They had no choice as I would have left if they didn't let me I was quite happy with my room BUT there were a few times that I needed something but no-one was around After a few days of being there I came back to my room and found so ***y insects everywhere and felt so very uncomfortable as I couldn't sleep at all This was really late at night I knew I should have phoned reception or someone but it was too late at night I therefore told them in the morning They cleaned my room but could not explain how the insects got in my room I really felt miserable about this They did tell me it wouldn't happen again.... Which it did The ***ager-Vikesh did say to me then if I wanted to change my room Which in retrospect I should have but didn't need the upheaval Then it happened again I went absolutely angry At past midnight they moved me to another room which made me really misersble I then decided to leave that day I decided not to pay my last night because of the insect issue So on the last day the 27th January I paid my balance by credit card but their machine said it did not go through......but on my bank I checked immediately of which was PENDING therefore there was no way I was going to put it through again So I left I had ***y text messages from the ***ager-Vikesh that day Which stressed and upset me immensely He threatened that if I didn't go back before 5pm that day he would report me to immigration and make sure my passport is blocked I was totally disgusted the way he told me this and was disrespectful with me I would never dream of doing anything like this to anyone I therefore went back and paid it again UNFORTUNATELY I was totally unhappy doing this but felt I had to I checked my bank constantly to see if the original payment went through and actually telephoned my bank to see what has happened which cost me 3000 rupees My bank eventually confirmed on the 4th February that Akhil Resort did take my payment twice Then Vikesh asked for confirmation of this Which I couldn't do a screenshot as my banks security would not allow me to I therefore immediately contacted Vikesh to advise him of this and requested he urgently paid me back the money he owed me I gave him everything he wanted for this My bank account details IBAN SWIFT and everything to go with it BUT IT NEVER HAPPENED he kept saying the MD has to sign it off To me this is a standard action in accounts As I have worked in accounts all my life but for Vikesh to keep saying Yes it is going to be transferred and it wasn't This totally made me so angry and very very stressed After some days I actually gave him my friends Indian bank

Worst service ever in our life.. especially GM Mr vikas , arrogant,rude and shrude person one could ever meet in hospitality ***agement field...we wre astonished to see such a Strange behaviour from a GM of a property...we wre supposed to walk to another property for buffet dinner and breakfast breakfast by walking one km .. despite of which our kids ( under 5 yrs ) age from using the pool

I an here to give a not so good review for this hotel, just to save others travellers from booking rooms from this property. This hotel took pure advantage of the Covid situation. While I saw o ***y resorts among the Cliff were having buffet for breakfast and dinner and they had even arranged for events for the New year's eve. The hotel ***agement didnt even maintain the rooms properly. The landline was not working, the fan was not working. The bathroom door was not proper. No powerpoint to have the kettle on. No door stoppers for the door. The swimming pool was not maintained. We pay a huge amount, and they claim to provide the best service. But they have failed to do that. If other hotels are able to offer so much to the guests, This ***agement should also do the same if not more.
