We visited this property after being there 20 years ago. Still a fab property. Staff exceptional. Place requires a lot of repairs and I am sure they are on to it. The only thing we were very upset was - about our drivers accommodation and food. A GRT run property DOES NOT provide food or not even a cup of tea. The accommodation provided had serious issues with mosquitos so our driver slept in the car. The location of the property was away from shops and other accommodation so to have a cup of coffee our driver had to drive a fair distance. I escalated this to the ***agement mid way of our stay - of course the answer was we will do it sir - but absolutely nothing happened. We plan to be back again as we like the place. But if this is not improved we will reluctantly look for alternatives.

This is a lovely 3 star hotel On arrival I had a small issue. BUT the ***ager listened and sorted it out swiftly. The ***ager should be proud of the efficiency, cleanliness and helpful staff. Wonderful ***agement, wonderful food & wonderful grounds !

It is river view resort about 12 kms from Big temple. Ambience , cleanliness is excellent. We had dinner and breakfast. Lot of options in breakfast all South Indian nenu like idli, Vada dosa, poori Pongal upma, etc. sambar three types of chutney, different dry fruits. Breads white brown and bun, four varieties of juices etc. Wash room very neat and clean. Room is very clean and cool. Con is only You have to have your own vehicle.

It was a pleasant experience. Swimmingpool was the best of the lot. The games room was fantastic. My parents had a great time. The hospitality was great. You can plan south indian thali as an item. The cost of sambar, rasam as 300 per cup is too high.

Room service needs to improve.. Room clealiness to be improved and also I mentioned in booking mail as required river seeing but got garden view.. Other than I have enjoyed with pleasant nature.. Thanks for your service and everything....

A great place to stay. A comfortable room located in a quiet area. Peaceful scenery. The breakfast here is fantastic and I loved the breakfast setting. It was so relaxing. The staff are so wonderful and helpful. I wish I could have stayed for more than one night. I loved the parting gift of rice and a coconut. Just beautiful. I will come back again.

We had a very pleasent 3 nights stay at Great Trails River View resort. The property is well maintained and staff was very friendly. The restaurant has a good view of the river and serves excellent food and has superb ambience. Ideal place to stay to visit nearby places like Tanjavur, Thiruvay***, Kumbakonam and Trichy.

This was a good hotel .. the room was spacious and comfortable, and there was a pleasant restaurant. It’s a bit out of the way so you need a driver to show you the sights, but the location makes up for that. The gardens are really lovely and the pool was fantastic.

The setting is beautiful even though there wasn’t much river to view! The pool area had plenty of seating. The bedroom was very tired as was the bathroom and clearly it was time for a refurbishment. Dinner was very disappointing - the food was almost cold and the Chicken Tikka was very dry. Drinks were very expensive.
